Recording apparatus including roll body support unit
A recording apparatus is configured to support a roll body on which a medium is wound in a rolled form, and to perform recording on the medium fed out from the roll body, the recording apparatus including a housing, and a roll unit configured to support the roll body, in which the roll unit is configured to transition to a first mode in which the roll unit is stored inside the housing in a state of not supporting the roll body, and to a second mode in which the roll unit is drawn out from inside the housing to outside the housing where the roll unit is configured to support the roll body.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A roll sheet with a continuous sheet wound in a roll form is rotated in a forward direction to supply the sheet to a printing unit. A sensor whose output is changed in accordance with a distance between the sensor and the sheet is used. A rotation direction of the roll sheet is switched from an opposite direction to the forward direction on the basis of the output of the sensor during rotation of the roll sheet in the opposite direction.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus including: a first roller mechanism including: a first shaft part having a first gear; and a first roller in which the first shaft part is inserted; and a second roller mechanism including: a movable holder configured to be moved in directions coming close to and being separated from a printing medium by a displacement mechanism; a second shaft part which is rotatably supported on the movable holder and having a second gear; a second roller in which the second shaft part is inserted, tiltable with respect to a shaft center of the second shaft part, and having an engaging groove recessed in an inner peripheral surface of an intermediate part of the second roller in a shaft center direction; and a protrusion protruding from an outer peripheral surface of the second shaft part and engaged with the engaging groove of the second roller.
SHEET SUPPLY DEVICE, RECORDING DEVICE, AND CART
A sheet supply device that supplies a sheet from a roll, includes: a first roll support portion which rotatably supports the roll on one end side in a width direction of the roll; a second roll support portion which rotatably supports the roll on the other end side of the roll by opposing the first roll support portion; and a guide portion which extends in the width direction and movably supports the second roll support portion in the width direction; wherein below a first space in which the roll between the first roll support portion and the second roll support portion is installed, a second space into which a cart which transports the roll enters is formed.
Printing apparatus
A roll sheet, in which a continuous sheet is wound in a roll form, is caused to rotate in a forward direction to supply the sheet to a printing unit. First and second sensors are arranged at positions facing an outer circumferential surface of the roll sheet and deviated in an axis line direction of the roll sheet. Outputs of the first and second sensors are changed in accordance with a distance to a sheet of the roll sheet. A rotation direction of the roll sheet is switched from a forward direction to a reverse direction on the basis of the outputs of the first and second sensors while the roll sheet is being rotated in the reverse direction.
Thermal printer and method for correcting printing positions
An information process device according to an embodiment includes a thermal head that prints on paper at positions along a width direction based on a reference position. The sensor is at a sensor position in the width direction and detects marks on paper being conveyed by a conveyance unit. The controller controls the conveyance unit to convey a confirmation sheet and then detects a position of a mark on the confirmation sheet with the sensor. The detected position corresponds to the sensor position. The controller next controls the conveyance unit and the thermal head to print a line on a sheet corresponding to the sensor position. The controller is configured to receive a corrected sensor position based on a measured distance of the printed line to an edge of the sheet and update the print reference position accordingly.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a containing portion that contains a rolled sheet obtained by winding a sheet and a recording portion that records an image on the sheet fed from the rolled sheet contained in the containing portion and further includes an opening/closing member that can be movable between an open position at which the containing portion is opened and a closed position at which the containing portion is closed and a first guiding portion provided in the opening/closing member to guide the rolled sheet to the containing portion in a case where the opening/closing member is at the open position.
Lid Subsystem for Media Processing Devices
A printer includes: a body with a set of interior walls defining a media enclosure configured to receive a media cartridge, and a latch recess in one of the interior walls, including a retaining surface, and a ramp surface; a lid rotatably coupled to the body and movable between open and closed positions; and a latch movably supported by the lid between a locked position and an unlocked position, the latch including: a bias member biasing the latch towards the locked position, a hook surface configured to engage the retaining surface when the lid is closed and the latch is in the locked position, and a cam surface configured via the bias member, when the lid is closed and the latch is released to the unlocked position, to slide against the ramp surface and lift the lid to an intermediate position between the open and closed positions.
Roll Paper Printer
A roll paper printer includes: a case configured to accommodate a paper roll in which paper is wound in such a way that one surface of the paper faces outward; a transport roller that pulls the paper from the paper roll and transports the paper in a transport direction; a first paper guide configured to come into contact with the other surface of the paper upstream of the transport roller in the transport direction; a second paper guide that faces the first paper guide and is configured to come into contact with the one surface of the paper; a third paper guide configured to be attached/detached and configured to come into contact with the one surface of the paper and curve the paper upstream of the second paper guide in the transport direction; a sensor configured to detect the third paper guide; and a controller that decreases, when the third paper guide is detected by the sensor, a transport speed for the paper transported by the transport roller to be lower than that when the third paper guide is not detected.
MEDIUM SUPPORTING MECHANISM AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A medium support portion includes a support face configured to support a medium transported in a transport direction, and a guide groove extending along a width direction at the support face. The guide groove includes a first surface and a second surface. The first surface and the second surface constitute inner walls of the guide groove that extends in the width direction, and are opposed to each other in the transport direction. The medium support portion includes a holding unit configured to hold an end portion of the medium in the width direction, and also includes a contact portion. The contact portion is able to move between a contacting position where the contact portion is in contact with the first surface and the second surface in a state of pressing the first surface and the second surface and a separating position where the contact portion is in contact with the second surface and is spaced apart from the first surface. An operation portion is able to move in a direction from either the first surface or the second surface toward the other surface relative to the holding unit. The contact portion moves from the contacting position to the separating position in association with movement of the operation portion in a direction from the first surface toward the second surface.
