Sheet conveyor and image forming system
A sheet conveyor includes: a holder that detachably holds a sheet roll; a rotation measuring device that measures a rotation amount of the sheet roll; a conveyance roller that conveys a sheet pulled out from the sheet roll held by the holder; a tensioner that is provided between the holder and the conveyance roller and that contacts with the sheet pulled out from the sheet roll toward the conveyance roller; a position detector that detects a position of the tensioner; a motor that generates driving force for rotating the conveyance roller; and a controller that controls the motor. The controller estimates a diameter of the sheet roll based on a conveyance amount of the sheet caused by rotation of the conveyance roller, a rotation amount of the sheet roll measured by the rotation measuring device, and a position of the tensioner detected by the position detector.
PRINTING A FIBROUS MATERIAL
The present invention refers to a plant (1) for printing a fibrous material (T). The printing plant (1) comprises: a station (14) for supplying a fibrous material configured for supplying the fibrous material along a predetermined operative path, a treating station (10) configured for treating the fibrous material with a treatment composition by applying the composition itself on a first side (T1) of the fibrous material (T) ; and a printing station (6) configured for ink-printing at least part of a second side (T2) of the fibrous material (T) opposite to the first side (T1). Moreover, the present invention refers to a process of printing a fibrous material.
Digital printing system for printing on fabric including foam pretreatment

Recording system providing a notification on a time to replace an adhesive layer on a transporting belt, recording device, and control method
A recording system includes a recording device including a recording unit that performs recording onto a medium, a transporting belt that includes an adhesive layer and transports the medium stuck on the adhesive layer, a drive unit that drives the transporting belt, a control unit that includes a detection unit for detecting a load current flowing in the drive unit and that controls the drive unit. The recording system further includes a peeling device that peels the medium from the transporting belt, and a notification device that provides a notification. The control unit causes the notification device to provide a notification on a time to replace the adhesive layer, based on a detection result of the detection unit.
Printing apparatus and method of printing
A printing apparatus (printer) is provided in which a base material is conveyed by a roll-to-roll method and feedback control is performed on a tension imposed on the base material, and which includes a control unit, a first drive motor (front drive motor) configured to control a speed of conveyance of conveying the base material, and a second drive motor (feeding motor, rear drive motor, winding motor) configured to control the tension imposed on the base material. In a case where a conveyance operation for conveying the base material is stopped based on detection of a foreign object, and when a speed of the first drive motor is at a predetermined value or less, the control unit stops the tension control performed by the second drive motor.
Recording device
A recording device includes a recording unit capable of performing recording on a medium, a holding unit capable of holding a roll body around which the medium is wound, a transporting unit that transports the medium unwound from the roll body, a tension roller that, between the holding unit and the recording unit, comes into contact with a back surface of the medium and applies tension to the medium, and a blowing unit that blows air onto a front surface of the medium. The blowing unit blows the air towards the tension roller.
Printing apparatus and method of controlling printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a printing unit that performs printing on a printing medium, a transporting belt that transports the printing medium and has an endless shape, and a belt-driving roller that causes the transporting belt to circulate and has a cylindrical shape. In the transporting belt, a magnetic scale having a magnetic pole changing at a predetermined pitch is arranged along a transport direction of the printing medium. The belt-driving roller includes an outer circumferential surface constituted of a magnet body, and is in contact with the transporting belt at the outer circumferential surface. The circumferential length of the outer circumferential surface of the belt-driving roller is an integer multiple of the pitch of the magnetic scale.
Liquid ejecting device having recesses and protrusions on contact surface between transport belt and rollers of liquid ejecting device
Provided is a liquid ejecting device that includes an endless transporting belt that is stretched over a plurality of rollers and transports a medium in a transport direction by rotating while supporting the medium at a support surface that is a surface on an opposite side from a contact surface with the rollers, and a liquid ejecting unit that ejects a liquid onto the medium supported by the support surface. At the contact surface, recesses and protrusions are regularly formed in the circumferential direction of the transporting belt.
MEDIUM TRANSPORTATION DEVICE, PRINTER, AND CUTTING DEVICE
A medium transportation device includes a support table to support a medium, and a conveyor to transport the medium supported by the support table in a transportation direction. The conveyor includes a driving roller, a rail, and a pinch roller assembly. The driving roller is provided on the support table, extends in a perpendicular direction that is perpendicular to the transportation direction, and is rotatable in the transportation direction. The rail faces the support table and extends in the perpendicular direction. The pinch roller assembly is in engagement with the rail so as to be movable in the perpendicular direction along the rail. The rail includes shorter rails arranged along a line extending in the perpendicular direction.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND PRINTING METHOD
A printing apparatus includes a feed shaft configured to feed a medium in a roll form by supporting and rotating the medium, a conveyance unit including a driving roller, a driven roller and an endless conveyance belt and configured to convey, in a conveyance direction, the medium supported by the conveyance belt by rotating the driving roller forward, a printing head configured to perform printing on the medium supported by the conveyance belt, and an ear portion winding shaft configured to wind up ear portions of the medium separated from the medium supported by the feed shaft.
