Mounting Apparatus
A mounting apparatus for mounting a printing apparatus to a structure includes an attachment part, which is attachable to the structure, and a support member upon which a printing apparatus is supportable. The support member enables the printing apparatus to be located in a desired position along a first axis, which extends in a first direction relative to the structure, and wherein at least a part of a footprint of the support member defined in a first plane, which is substantially transverse to the first axis, overlaps at least a part of a footprint of the printing apparatus defined in a second plane, which is substantially transverse to the first axis.
Printing assembly
In a printer assembly for image-wise providing a recording substance on a recording medium, the printer assembly comprises a print surface for supporting the recording medium; a gantry supporting a print head; and a medium supply assembly for step-wise supplying the recording medium over the print surface in a medium transport direction. The print head is configured to provide a swath of the recording substance on the recording medium arranged on the print surface in a scanning direction. The gantry is rotatable in a plane substantially parallel to the print surface such that the scanning direction is rotatable relative to the medium transport direction. Thus, skewing of the recording medium may be compensated such to prevent visibility of banding due to misalignment of subsequently printed swaths.
REFERENCE POINT MARKING APPARATUS AND ROLL MAP GENERATING APPARATUS
The present technology relates to a reference point marking apparatus for marking reference points on a pattern electrode in which coated portions and uncoated portions are repeatedly arranged in a longitudinal direction, in which the pattern electrode includes a plurality of reserved electrode lane parts to be slit into a plurality of electrode lanes in the longitudinal direction in a subsequent process, and the reference point marking apparatus includes a moving marking machine configured to mark reference points on uncoated portions of the reserved electrode lane parts arranged in a width direction of the pattern electrode while moving in the width direction, and a controller configured to control an operation of the moving 10 marking machine. The present technology also provides a roll map generation apparatus using the reference point marking apparatus.
Inkjet printing device for printing with ink to a recording medium in the form of a web
An inkjet printing device for printing to a recording medium includes a printing unit that has a plurality of print bars that respectively have one or more print heads. The printing device also includes a transfer printing sled to guide the recording medium, which can be moved into and out of a space below the printing unit. In a print operation state, the transfer printing sled is arranged in the space and guides the recording medium during printing. In a maintenance operation state, the transfer printing sled is moved out of the space. The printing device also includes at least one cleaning element for cleaning at least one print head of the printing module. In the transport direction of the recording medium, the at least one cleaning element is arranged laterally next to the space in the print operation state and in this space in the maintenance operation state.

Printing apparatus and method of printing for intermittantly transporting a medium
A printing apparatus includes a transport unit that intermittently transports a medium, a support portion that supports the medium, a head that performs printing by discharging a liquid onto the medium supported by the support portion during a period in which the transport of the medium by the transport unit is stopped, a carriage at which the head is mounted and that moves relative to the medium, and a control unit. The control unit starts the movement of the carriage before the transport of the medium by the transport unit is completed, and starts the discharge of the liquid by the head after the transport of the medium by the transport unit is completed.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND ROLL HOLDING DEVICE
Provided is a printing apparatus performing printing on a sheet drawn out from a roll, comprising: a roll holding unit; a support unit rotatably supporting the roll holding unit; a core portion provided to the roll holding unit and inserted into a hollow portion of the core pipe from an end portion of the core pipe to extend along an axis of the core pipe; a first contact member provided to the core portion and elastically deformed to a position where the first contact member presses a first portion of an inner wall surrounding the hollow portion of the core pipe; and a second contact member provided to the core portion at a position that is different from the position where the first contact member is provided and elastically deformed to a position where the second contact member presses a second portion of the inner wall.
Method and apparatus for printing on non-planar beds
A printer includes a convex printing bed that is configured to hold a medium. A printer carriage is operable to swipe back and forth across the medium along a linear axis. A set of printing heads jet ink on the medium. The set of printing heads is secured to and moved along the linear axis by the carriage. At least two rails support the print carriage and to guide the print carriage along the linear axis as the carriage swipes back and forth across the medium. The shape of the convex bed generates tension across the medium such that an increase in width of the medium, due to swelling of the medium when printed, is pulled to the sides by the shape of the convex bed to limit creasing and bulging of the medium.

Printing apparatus and printing method
A printing apparatus that includes a holding unit configured to hold a roll sheet performs supplying the sheet by rotating the roll sheet held by the holding unit; nipping and conveying the supplied sheet; performing printing on the conveyed sheet; detecting occurrence of a print medium jam of the sheet; and, if the printing apparatus has detected a print medium jam of the sheet, performing a control process of supplying the sheet in a state in which the conveying is stopped.
