LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS AND TENSION APPLYING METHOD
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes an ejecting unit that is capable of ejecting a liquid; and a tension adjusting unit that is rotatable about a rotational shaft and that is capable of applying a tension to a medium by coming into contact with the medium onto which the liquid is ejected. The tension adjusting unit is capable of applying the tension to the medium at a balancing position at which the tension adjusting unit is balanced by a weight of the tension adjusting unit.
Liquid discharging apparatus
Provided is a liquid discharging apparatus that includes a medium support portion which supports a recording medium and a tension applying portion which applies tension to the medium support portion.
Printing apparatus with winding rotating drum
A printing apparatus includes a rotating drum which rotates by winding the printing base material around a circumferential side surface, and through which the printing base material is transported in the transporting direction; a recording portion which forms a printed image with respect to the printing base material on the rotating drum; and a driven roller which is positioned to be closer to a downstream side than the recording portion in the transporting direction, and rotates together with the rotating drum. The driven roller is disposed at a position for regulating a terminal position of the transporting direction in which the printing base material is wound in the rotating drum. The driven roller comes into contact with the printing base material at positions on both sides in a direction which intersects with the transporting direction of a region where the recording portion forms the printed image.
PRINTER
A printer is provided with: a feed roller on which an elongated shaped medium is wound in a roll form and from which the medium is unwound and fed in a predetermined transport direction; a printing unit that prints an object to be printed on the medium fed from the feed roller; a take-up roller that takes up the medium printed by the printing unit in a roll form; and a tension applying member that applies a tension to the medium by making a contact with a surface opposite to a print surface of the medium. The tension applying member has a support portion disposed at a center position in a width direction of the medium, and an oscillation shaft extending in the width direction of the medium and adapted to oscillate in contact with the medium. The oscillation shaft is oscillated on the support portion serving as fulcrum.
PRINTER
A printer includes a mainframe including a front face part that has an opening through which a recording medium passes; a guide unit connected to the mainframe on a first side of the front face part; a printer mechanism unit configured to perform printing on the recording medium, and connected to the mainframe on a second side of the front face part opposite to the first side thereof; an arm unit having a first end connected to the mainframe; and a shaft unit configured to hold a roll of the recording medium, and connected to a second end of the arm unit, wherein the guide unit is configured to guide the recording medium so as to feed the recording medium to the printer mechanism unit through the opening of the front face part of the mainframe.
Tape cartridge and tape printing apparatus
Provided is a tape cartridge capable of reducing false detection by a detection portion. A tape cartridge 100 installed in a tape printing apparatus includes: a label tape 101 having a plurality of detection convex portions 109 partially projecting from an end thereof in a tape width direction; a cartridge case in which the label tape 101 is accommodated; a platen roller 103 accommodated in the cartridge case and paying out the label tape 101 by rotation; and an exposed area formed in the cartridge case and serving as an area in which the plurality of detection convex portions 109 is exposed one after another as the label tape 101 is paid out by the platen roller 103, wherein the label tape 101 is not exposed in the exposed area except for the detection convex portions.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a transport unit which includes a transport roller pair which transports a medium in a transport direction, a printing unit which prints onto the medium, a winding unit which winds the printed medium, and a tension application unit which applies a tension to the medium at a position between the transport roller pair and the winding unit. The tension application unit includes a pair of arms which are capable of rotating. A tension bar is supported on one end of the arms and comes into contact with the medium. The bar is rotated from an upper limit position to a lower limit position by transportation of the transport unit being performed two or more times.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a feeding unit which includes a medium support unit which supports a roll-shaped medium, a feeding motor which rotates the medium support unit, and a transmission unit which transmits a driving force of the feeding motor to the medium support unit; a transport unit which transports a medium fed from the feeding unit; and a control unit which adjusts a tensile force of the medium between the medium support unit and the transport unit, by controlling the feeding motor, in which the transmission unit includes a plurality of transmission mechanisms, and the plurality of transmission mechanisms include a belt transmission mechanism which transmits the driving force using a belt.
Roll paper conveyance control method, roll paper conveyance device, and printer
In a rewind operation in which a supply motor rotates a paper roll to take up slack in the recording paper, movement of a movable member that is pushed in the direction applying tension to the recording paper and moves according to variation in the tension on the recording paper is detected, the supply motor is controlled according to movement of the movable member, and the time required to take up slack in the roll paper is shortened.
