CARRIAGE STRUCTURE AND PRINTER
Provided are a carriage structure capable of preventing a carriage from contacting a side edge of a print medium, without requiring a discharge roller and facilitating reducing device size, and a printer having the carriage structure. Disposed to a carriage 21 carrying and inkjet head 22 and moving bidirectionally through a range of movement including the conveyance path of a cut-sheet paper S are: a panel member 78 able to protrude in the direction of carriage 21 movement; and a moving mechanism 126 causing the panel member 78 to protrude to the conveyance path of the cut-sheet paper S when the carriage 21 is at a standby position (home position) set in the range of carriage 21 movement.
PRINTER AND METHOD OF OBTAINING INCLINATION INFORMATION OF GUIDE OF PRINTER
There is provided a printer including: a conveyance unit; a liquid jetting head including at least one nozzle array in which nozzles are arrayed; a carriage; a guide; a carriage moving unit; a memory; and a controller. The controller performs printing by performing scan printing operation and a conveyance operation multiple times repeatedly and adjusts jetting timings of the liquid jetted from the nozzles at positions in a scanning direction based on pieces of inclination information corresponding to the respective positions. In second or subsequent scan printing operation of the multiple times of scan printing operation, the controller delays or advances, based on the inclination information, the jetting timing in the second or subsequent scan printing operation relative to the jetting timing in scan printing operation immediately before the second or subsequent scan printing operation more greatly, as inclination of the at least one nozzle array increases.
NAIL PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD
A nail printing apparatus comprises: a print head configured to perform a printing operation in which an image on a nail of a person to be printed is printed by moving in a scanning direction and ejecting ink from a nozzle; and a control unit configured to control movement of the print head, wherein, in a case where movement of the print head is stopped regardless of controlling of movement of the print head associated with the printing operation, the control unit switches the controlling of movement of the print head after the stopping based on a stop position of the print head.
Apparatus and Method for Printing Profiled Bodies, Especially Edge Bands
The invention relates to a device for printing on edge bands including at least one printhead for producing a printed image on the edge band; a linear drive for moving the at least one printhead in a printing direction within a printing region between two end positions; a feeding apparatus for feeding the edge band into the printing region in a transport direction; and a control apparatus for controlling the at least one printhead, the linear drive and the feeding apparatus. The technical problem of technically and economically improving the process of printing on edge bands is solved in that the transport direction of the edge band is oriented substantially parallel to the printing direction. The invention further relates to a method for printing on edge bands.
Printing unit with replaceable printhead
A printing unit includes: a sleeve and a print module received in the sleeve, the print module being slidably removable, in a first direction, from the sleeve. The print module includes a supply module and a replaceable printhead. The printhead is slidably removable, in a second direction, from the supply module, the first and second directions being non-parallel.
PRINTER
A printer includes a motor power supply line connecting a carriage motor with a power source, a sensor power supply line connecting a rotary encoder with the power source, a circuit breaker provided on the motor power supply line and interrupting electrical power if a cover sensor detects that a front cover is open and permit connection if the cover sensor detects that the front cover is closed, and a controller controlling the carriage motor and a recording head based on a position of a carriage detected by the rotary encoder.
LIQUID EJECTING DEVICE
A liquid ejecting device includes a head configured to eject liquid, a holding unit holding the head, a base unit holding the holding unit, a guide unit movably holding the base unit, the guide unit being configured to guide the base unit, and a detection unit attached to the base unit, the detection unit being configured to detect vibration of the base unit, in which the base unit includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the guide unit is attached to the first surface, and the detection unit is attached to at least one of the first surface and the second surface.
INKJET PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
This application relates to an inkjet printing apparatus. In one aspect, the apparatus includes a main frame and a flat-bed moving in a first direction with respect to the main frame. The apparatus may also include a first printing device located on a movement path of the flat-bed and comprising a first inkjet head for jetting base ink onto a print area of the print medium. The apparatus may further include a second printing device located on the movement path of the flat-bed and comprising a second inkjet head for jetting activator ink onto the print area of the print medium onto which the base ink is jetted. The apparatus may further include at least one processor electrically connected to the flat-bed, the first printing device, and the second printing device and configured to control operations of the flat-bed, the first printing device, and the second printing device.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR THE PRINTING APPARATUS, AND MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A printing apparatus includes a head to discharge liquid, a carriage to support the head and reciprocate in a forward direction and a backward direction, and a controller. The controller executes a printing process to print one image in a plurality of copies by discharging the liquid from the head while moving the carriage in the forward direction and the backward direction, based on a print job for printing the one image in the plurality of copies, and a first determining process to determine a moving direction of the carriage for second and following copies, based on a moving result of the carriage in printing for the first copy in the printing process.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A printing apparatus includes a printing unit configured to print an image on a print medium, an acquiring unit configured to acquire temperature information of the printing unit, and a control unit configured to control the printing unit so as to start relative scanning in a case where a temperature that is indicated by the temperature information has reached a print permission temperature. The print permission temperature in a first print mode whose speed at a time of a constant speed in relative scanning is a first speed is a first temperature. The print permission temperature in a second print mode whose speed at the time of the constant speed is a second speed that is faster than the first speed is a second temperature that is lower than the first temperature.
