APPARATUS CONFIGURED TO DISCHARGE LIQUID
An apparatus configured to discharge liquid includes a plurality of liquid discharge modules arranged at different inclinations in the apparatus. Each of the plurality of liquid discharge modules includes a liquid discharge head, a containing member, and a holding member. The liquid discharge head is configured to discharge liquid. The containing member is configured to contain liquid to be supplied to the liquid discharge head. The holding member is configured to hold the containing member. The holding member of each of the plurality of liquid discharge modules includes a first adjuster configured to adjust a position of the containing member relative to the liquid discharge head in a vertical direction in the apparatus.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a frame, a platen roller rotatably supported by the frame, a thermal head that is provided to face the platen roller, and a supporting unit that supports the thermal head from above, wherein the supporting unit includes an adjustment part that can adjust a height of the supporting unit by an adjuster, and the supporting unit can adjust an angle of the thermal head by adjusting the height of the adjustment part by the adjuster with at least a portion of the supporting unit being deformed, and wherein the supporting unit can adjust the height of the adjustment part by adjusting a protrusion amount of the adjuster with a tip of the adjuster being butted against the frame.
Print head adjustment device
A device for adjusting print heads, in particular inkjet print heads of an inkjet printing machine, on a print bar includes motors disposed in a row and supported for joint movement. Every motor carries a motor gearwheel and every motor gearwheel is successively engageable with at least two respective adjustment gearwheels.

HEAD ASSEMBLY AND INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS
A head assembly includes a base member, a recording head, a coupling member, and a pressing member. The recording head ejects ink. The coupling member couples the recording head to the base member. The pressing member is in contact with a first surface of the recording head. The coupling member includes an urging member that urges a second surface of the recording head toward the first surface of the recording head. The second surface of the recording head is a surface of the recording head on an opposite side from the first surface.
Printing system for applying images over a contoured axially symmetric object
A printing system applies images on the exterior of an axially symmetrical object that has a varying exterior surface, such as occurs on curved wine bottles and sports equipment like bats. The printing system includes a movable carriage having rotatable locking end members for holding the object for printing stationary along its longitudinal axis, but allowing for controlled rotation of the object. The carriage moves the object from a loading area into a printing area and a plurality of movable printing head assemblies position a plurality of ink jet heads over the surface of the object as it is moved along a linear axis under the print head assemblies. Each print head is movable such that as the object moves underneath the print head tilts to match the local slope of the contoured surface as ink is being applied. The applied image is then cured with UV lamps during rotation.
Printing Apparatus
A printing apparatus includes: a head having a discharge surface in which a discharge port is opened, a pressure chamber which communicates with the discharge port, and an actuator which is configured to change a volume of the pressure chamber; a carriage configured to move the head in a scanning direction; a conveyor configured to move an object in a conveyance direction crossing the scanning direction; a posture changing mechanism configured to change a facing posture of the head with respect to the object; and a controller configured to control the actuator, the carriage, the conveyor and the posture changing mechanism, based on image data, to execute alternately and repeatedly a scanning operation and a conveying operation.

GUIDE DEVICE AND PRINTER
A guide device includes a guide configured to movably hold and guide a moving-object, and a stay to which the guide is attached. The stay includes an attachment portion including an attachment surface to which the guide is attached, a facing portion facing the attachment portion, and an adjuster configured to change a distance between the attachment portion and the facing portion to partially displace the attachment surface. The adjuster includes an adjustment plate arranged between the attachment portion and the facing portion, and a push member configured to push the adjustment plate to move the attachment portion of the stay.
POSTURE ADJUSTING APPARATUS AND INKJET IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A posture adjusting apparatus includes: an ink ejector that has a detachable inkjet head that ejects ink; and a posture adjuster for adjusting a posture of the ink ejector. The ink ejector includes a head fixing member to/from which the inkjet head is attached and detached, and is movable between a first position where an image is formed on a recording medium by the inkjet head and a second position where the inkjet head is attached and detached, and the posture adjuster allows adjustment of an angle of the head fixing member in the second position.
