PRINT HEAD ADJUSTMENT DEVICE
A device for adjusting print heads, in particular inkjet print heads of an inkjet printing machine, on a print bar includes motors disposed in a row and supported for joint movement. Every motor carries a motor gearwheel and every motor gearwheel is successively engageable with at least two respective adjustment gearwheels.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes: a recording head; a transportation path along which the medium is transported via a head facing region which faces the recording head; and a maintenance unit used for maintenance of the recording head, wherein the head facing region, which is a region of the transportation path which faces the recording head, is inclined with respect to a horizontal direction, and the recording head is provided to be rotatable, and when rotating, the recording head can be switched between a first position in which the head surface is inclined along an inclination of the head facing region, the first position being a position for performing recording, and a second position in which the head surface becomes horizontal or becomes more horizontal than in the first position, the second position being a position for performing maintenance by the maintenance unit.

INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS CAPABLE OF ADJUSTING HEIGHT OF INKJET HEAD IN SHORT TIME
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a first adjustment portion and a second adjustment portion. The first adjustment portion adjusts a position of an inkjet head in a predetermined direction intersecting with an up-down direction. The second adjustment portion retains the first adjustment portion in a liftable manner and adjusts a position of the first adjustment portion in the up-down direction. The second adjustment portion includes a tilted member which has an upper surface tilted with respect to the predetermined direction and is slidable in the predetermined direction. The first adjustment portion includes a contact portion which protrudes downwardly and comes into contact with the upper surface of the tilted member.

SEGMENTED OVJP PRINT BAR
Implementations of the disclosed subject matter provide a print bar for organic vapor jet (OVJP) deposition is provided that includes a plurality of n print head segments, where each of the plurality of print head segments may have an OVJP print head. The print bar may include a plurality of distance sensors, where each of the plurality of distance sensors may be configured to measure a distance between a substrate disposed below the print bar and a portion of at least one of the print head segments. The print bar may include a plurality of not more than n+1 actuators configured to adjust at least one of a position and an orientation of one or more of the plurality of print head segments based upon one or more distances between the substrate and the print bar measured by one or more of the plurality of distance sensors.
Elastic Bending Mechanism for Bi-Directional Adjustment of Print Head Position
Mechanisms for adjusting the position of one or more print heads at an extremely fine resolution (e.g., less than 10 m) are described herein. The adjustment mechanisms include a differential screw and an indexing wheel through which the differential screw extends. One threaded segment of the differential screw is connected to a threaded feature of a flexible body that is coupled to the print head(s), while another threaded segment of the differential screw is connected to a threaded feature of a rigid body that is coupled to a printer assembly. As the indexing wheel and differential screw rotate, the space between the flexible body and the rigid body changes based on the difference between the pitches of the threaded segments. The adjustment mechanisms described herein utilize the accurate, consistent motion of the flexible body upon experiencing pressure to effect predictable changes in the position of the print head(s).
