Fluid ejection module mounting
A fluid ejection module mounting apparatus, including a module mount having a horizontal portion and a vertical portion, a fluid ejection module mounted to the module mount, and a clamp assembly including a recessed portion, a clamp along a wall of the recessed portion, and a lever coupled to the clamp and configured to move the clamp from an open position to a closed position. The horizontal portion has an opening configured to receive a fluid ejection module and the vertical portion has a protruding portion. The protruding portion of the module mount is configured to mate with the recessed portion of the clamp assembly.

PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a spectrometer that emits light to detect reflected light and outputs a signal corresponding to an intensity of the light, a white board that reflects the light, a carriage that holds the spectrometer, and a second adjustment mechanism that adjusts a posture of the spectrometer with respect to the carriage.
DIGITAL INKJET PRINTING MACHINE FOR PRINTING ON CYLINDRICAL SUBSTRATES
Digital inkjet printing machine printing on cylindrical substrates, comprising a conveyor table conveying a cylindrical substrate and a printing station equipped with printheads having a parallel longitudinal axis. The table has a vertical rotation axis and supports a spindle supporting the cylindrical substrate. The spindle has an axis radially oriented with respect to the vertical rotation axis, and is actuatable in rotation about its axis. The conveyor table is configured to stop the spindle below the printheads, so the printheads have its axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the printheads. The spindle axis stopped below the printheads belongs to main planes in which the printheads lie. The printheads are equidistant from the axis of the spindle. A first adjustment means adjusts the distance between the axis of the spindle and the printheads and a second adjustment means adjusts the orientation of the main planes in which the printheads lie.

LIQUID EJECTION HEAD
A liquid ejection head including a recording element substrate configured with a liquid ejection port, the liquid ejection head including: a first positioning member configured with a first positioning part including a recess portion opening in a direction of liquid ejection; and a second positioning member configured with a second positioning part, which includes a groove portion opening in the direction of liquid ejection and extending towards the first positioning member, and a third positioning part, which includes a flat plane portion substantially parallel to the recording element substrate.
Image forming apparatus, image forming method, and storage medium
An image forming apparatus includes a liquid discharge head, an irradiation unit, a carriage, and a moving unit. The liquid discharge head discharges a liquid onto a recording medium. The liquid includes a metallic ink and a color ink. The irradiation unit irradiates the liquid on the recording medium with light. The liquid discharge head and the irradiation unit are mounted on the carriage. The moving unit alternately perform a main scanning movement and a sub-scanning movement. The liquid discharge head discharges the metallic ink in a region of the recording medium in a former main scanning movement and discharges the color ink in the region in which the metallic ink has been discharged, in a latter main scanning movement after the former main scanning movement. The irradiation unit irradiates the region in which the color ink has been discharged with the light.
Rotating a printhead relative to vertical
In one example, a printer having a rotation mechanism coupleable to a liquid-ejecting printhead in the printer. The printer includes a controller coupled to the rotation mechanism to control the rotation mechanism to intermittently rotate the printhead, during a non-printing time, from a first orientation relative to vertical to a second orientation relative to vertical and back to the first orientation.

INK JET RECORDING APPARATUS
There is provided an inkjet recording apparatus includes a conveyance unit, a head unit, an attachment member, a fixing member, and a support member. The conveyance unit conveys a recording medium on an outer circumferential curved surface of a cylindrical conveyance drum rotating around a cylindrical shaft. The relative position of the attachment member to the cylindrical shaft is fixed. The head unit has a nozzle ejecting ink and is attached to the attachment member such that the outer circumferential curved surface faces an opening of the nozzle across a predetermined relative distance. The fixing member fixes a fixing portion in the head unit to the attachment member. The fixing portion is between a center of gravity of the head unit and the cylindrical shaft. The support member supports the fixed head unit by applying force which disturbs rotation of the head unit.
