Three-dimensional object printer
A three-dimensional object printer includes a head having a plurality of nozzles that discharge a liquid, a movement mechanism having an arm section that supports the head and having a plurality of joint sections provided on the arm section, a drive circuit that generates a drive signal to drive the head, a control circuit that generates a control signal to control supply of the drive signal to the head, a first cable for transmitting the drive signal from the drive circuit to the head, and a second cable for transmitting the control signal from the control circuit to the head. At least a part of the second cable is arranged along the arm section. The control signal is transmitted as a differential signal to the second cable.
Three-Dimensional Object Printing Apparatus And Three-Dimensional Object Printing Method
A three-dimensional object printing apparatus executes a first printing operation in which a liquid is ejected into a first band region and a second printing operation in which the liquid is ejected into a second band region. When an angle formed by a vector at a first position in a first path and a vector at a second position in a second path is set as a first angle and an angle formed by a vector at a third position in the first path and a vector at a fourth position in the second path is set as a second angle, the first angle is more than the second angle, and a width in which the first band region overlaps with the second band region at the first position is less than a width in which the first band region overlaps with the second band region at the third position.

Head unit, head unit adjustment method, attaching/detaching jig and head unit exchange method
A head unit to be detachably arrayed in a predetermined array direction on a base member includes: an ink discharge head having a nozzle surface configured to discharge an ink; a head holder attachable to and detachable from the base member while holding the ink discharge head in a holding region; and a posture adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a posture of the nozzle surface with respect to the head holder by rotating the ink discharge head with respect to the head holder about an axis of rotation perpendicular to both a surface normal to the nozzle surface and the array direction in a state where the head holder is not attached to the base member.

System and method for actuating a treatment device
A device actuation system for actuating a treatment device includes a first drive gear rotatably mountable to the treatment device, a coupler rail slidably mountable to the treatment device, a second drive gear rotatably mountable to the coupler rail, and a coupler gear rotatably mountable to the treatment device and engageable with the coupler rail. In addition, the device actuation system includes a drive rail locatable between the first drive gear and the second drive gear of the gear system. The coupler gear is rotatable to move the coupler rail in a manner maintaining the second drive gear in continuous engagement with the drive rail against the first drive gear. The first drive gear and the second drive gear are rotatable in a manner causing at least one of translation and rotation of the treatment device relative to the drive rail.
PRINTER AND CONTROL METHOD OF A PRINTER
Provided is a printer having: a carriage configured to carry and move a printhead; a camera attached to the carriage and configured to photograph an image printed by the printhead; an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust an installation position of the camera; and a processor configured to control to move the carriage to a position of a predetermined specific mark, photograph the specific mark by the camera, and based on a photographed image of the specific mark, adjust an installation position of the camera by the adjustment mechanism.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a liquid discharge head to discharge liquid, a head holder to hold the liquid discharge head, a sub-carriage to hold the head holder, and a carriage to hold the sub-carriage and which is movable in a main scanning direction. The carriage includes a reference extending along the main scanning direction that holds and positions the sub-carriage in the carriage. The head holder includes a rotation reference around which the head holder is rotatable with respect to the sub-carriage, and an angle adjuster to regulate a rotation and adjust an angle of the rotation of the head holder with respect to the sub-carriage.
DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING A PRINTING HEAD
A device for adjusting a printing head includes a step-by-step switching mechanism, an actuator for shifting the step-by-step switching mechanism, and a locking disk supported for rotation. A first shifting tongue is provided for incrementally rotating the locking disk in a first direction of rotation. The first shifting tongue has two elongated holes for guidance purposes, one of which has a lateral recess. It is thus possible to adjust printing heads with a high degree of accuracy while saving time and costs. The device is preferably implemented in industrial inkjet printing.
