Bicyclic heterocyclyl derivatives as IRAK4 inhibitors
The present invention provides bicyclic heterocyclyl kinase enzyme inhibitor compounds of formula (I), which are therapeutically useful as kinase inhibitors, particularly IRAK4 inhibitors. ##STR00001##
wherein A, Y, Z, X.sub.1, X.sub.2, X.sub.3, R.sub.1, R.sub.3, ‘m’, ‘n’ and ‘p’ have the meanings given in the specification and pharmaceutically acceptable salt or stereoisomer thereof that are useful in the treatment and prevention of diseases or disorder, in particular their use in diseases or disorder mediated by kinase enzyme, particularly IRAK4 enzyme. The present invention also provides pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one of the compounds of compound of formula (I) together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, diluent or excipient therefor.
Serine protease molecules and therapies
Cell-targeted serine protease constructs are provided. Such constructs can be used in methods for targeted cell killing such as for treatment cell of proliferative diseases (e.g., cancer). In some aspects, recombinant serine proteases, such as Granzyme B polypeptides, are provided that exhibit improved stability and cell toxicity. Methods and compositions for treating lapatinib or trastuzumab-resistant cancers are also provided.
Therapeutic and diagnostic methods for cancer
The present invention provides therapeutic and diagnostic methods and compositions for cancer, for example, bladder cancer. The invention provides methods of treating bladder cancer, methods of determining whether a patient suffering from bladder cancer is likely to respond to treatment comprising a PD-L1 axis binding antagonist, methods of predicting responsiveness of a patient suffering from bladder cancer to treatment comprising a PD-L1 axis binding antagonist, and methods of selecting a therapy for a patient suffering from bladder cancer, based on expression levels of a biomarker of the invention (e.g., PD-L1 expression levels in tumor-infiltrating immune cells in a tumor sample obtained from the patient) and/or based on the determination of a tumor sample subtype.
Oral compositions for bladder regulation and uses thereof
Oral compositions for supporting bladder function, reduce frequency of urination, and/or improve or maintain bladder control, suitable for oral administration, are described. Methods of use and uses are described, which include the step of administering an effective amount of the oral compositions to supporting bladder function, reduce frequency of urination, and/or improve or maintain bladder control.

MDR <i>E. coli </i>immunogen
The subject relates to an isolated antibody that specifically binds to O25b antigen of multi drug resistant (MDR) E. coli strains, its medical and diagnostic use, method of producing the antibody, including an isolated nucleotide sequence, plasmids and host cells as used in the production of the antibody; and further an isolated epitope recognized the specific antibody.
Composition for treatment of overactive bladder
A nutritional supplement composition for treatment of bladder disorders, in particular, overactive bladder (OAB) includes therapeutically effective amounts of pumpkin seed extract, nitric oxide precursor, vitamin D3, prebiotic fiber, preservative, and stabilizer.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR INHIBITING POLYOMAVIRUS-ASSOCIATED PATHOLOGY
Disclosed herein are methods of eliciting an immune response against a polyomavirus (for example, BKV serotype I (BKV-I), BKV serotype II (BKV-II), BKV serotype III (BKV-III) and/or BKV serotype IV (BKV-IV)) and methods of treating or inhibiting polyomavirus-associated pathology (such as polyomavirus-associated nephropathy, BKV-associated hemorrhagic cystitis, or JC virus-associated progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy; PML). Further disclosed are immunogenic compositions of use in the disclosed methods. Also disclosed are methods of selecting an organ transplant donor and/or recipient including detecting whether the prospective donor and/or recipient has BKV serotype-specific (such as BKV serotype IV-specific) neutralizing antibodies.
Anti-B7-H3 antibodies and diagnostic uses thereof
Provided herein are B7-H3 antibodies, fragments of such antibodies, and compositions comprising the same. The antibodies, antibody fragments and compositions are useful in a number of analytical methods, including immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical detection and analysis of B7-H3. Also provided herein are isolated peptides and fusion proteins containing immunogenic determinants for said B7-H3 antibodies, animals immunized with the peptides and fusion proteins, isolated B cells obtained from the animals, and hybridomas made from the isolated B cells.
NANOPARTICLE COMPOSITIONS, FORMULATIONS THEREOF, AND USES THEREFOR
The present invention describes novel nanoparticle compositions, and systems and methods utilizing them for treating disorders and/or conditions. Methods generally involve administering nanoparticle compositions (e.g., nanoparticle compositions comprising at least one known therapeutic agent and/or independently active biologically active agent; and/or empty nanoparticle compositions) to a subject in need thereof.
