Inkjet printing apparatus
An inkjet printing apparatus includes a print head, to which a protective member configured to protect an ejection opening surface is attachable, and a head holder configured to hold the print head detachably. The inkjet printing apparatus further includes a guide portion provided in the head holder and configured to guide, in a width direction, the print head with the ejection opening surface protected by the protective member. The guide portion guides the print head with the protective member attached up to a predetermined position in the width direction and guides only the print head ahead of the predetermined position to prevent the protective member from exceeding the predetermined position.
Inkjet printing apparatus
An inkjet printing apparatus is provided capable of attaching and detaching of a print head with a mechanism that is easily operable and simple, while preventing an erroneous operation. For the purpose, it is configured so that the press/release for the print head is possible along with movement of the joint member. Further, when the joint member is connected, the connection of the joint member is performed after pressing the print head, and when the connection of the joint member is released, the pressure on the print head is released after releasing the connection of the joint member.
Device for arranging a print head in a certain position
A device for arranging a print head in a certain position includes a main unit including a main frame providing a primary abutting part and a support part; a sub-unit including a sub-frame providing a secondary abutting part, a connecting member movable relative to the sub-frame between a first position and a second position, and an urging member for urging the connecting member from the second position towards the first position, and a print head connectable to the connecting member to form a sub-assembly with the sub-unit. The main unit is configured to accommodate a sub-assembly formed by the sub-unit and the print head in a preliminary position in which, with the connecting member in the first position, the print head contacts the support part, and the secondary abutting part is spaced apart from the primary abutting part. The support part is configured to mate with the print head to prevent lateral displacement of the print head relative to the main frame, and the sub-frame is movable relative to the main frame from the preliminary position towards a final position against a force exerted onto the sub-frame by the urging member while the connecting member moves from the first position towards the second position against a force exerted onto the connecting member by the urging member, under the influence of a force exerted onto the print head by the support part, wherein in the final position, the secondary abutting part abuts the primary abutting part.
Device and method for aligning printheads
The invention is directed to a device (1) and a method for adjusting printheads (2) relative to one another, the printheads each being provided with a nozzle plate having multiple nozzles for printing, and having at least one round hole and/or at least one elongated hole in this nozzle plate for manufacturing and/or assembly purposes, including and using an assembly template for multiple printheads (2), wherein, for each printhead (2), at least one counterpart is provided, preferably in the form of a pin, that fits exactly into at least one round hole and/or at least one elongated hole in the corresponding nozzle plate, so that when the printheads (2) are inserted into the assembly template in such a way that the pairs of round hole counterparts and elongated hole counterparts engage with the corresponding round holes and elongated holes in the nozzle plate, the nozzles of all printheads (2) are aligned with one another in the desired manner.
LIQUID EJECTING UNIT AND LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid ejecting unit includes: a liquid ejecting head; and a coupling member coupled to the liquid ejecting head, in which the liquid ejecting head has a first-coupling portion and a second-coupling portion, the liquid ejecting unit further includes: a first-attachment portion provided in a first-position of the coupling member; a second-attachment portion provided in a second-position of the coupling member, the second position being different from the first position; a first-elastic body; and a second-elastic body, and the first-elastic body biases the first-attachment portion or the first-coupling portion in a state in which the first-attachment portion is in contact with the first-coupling portion and the second-elastic body biases the second-attachment portion or the second-coupling portion in a state in which the second-attachment portion is in contact with the second-coupling portion, so that the coupling member is coupled to the liquid ejecting head.
DEVICE FOR ARRANGING A PRINT HEAD IN A CERTAIN POSITION
