COSMETIC AND/OR PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING A BACTERIAL EXTRACELLULAR PRODUCT FROM PSEUDOALTEROMONAS ANTARCTICA, AND USE THEREOF
Extract of a bacterial strain for its use in treatment and/or care of the skin and/or mucous membranes, as well as its cosmetic and/or dermopharmaceutical compositions. In particular, its use for sebum reduction and skin firmness.
ANTISEPTIC, ANTISEBORRHEIC, EXFOLIATING COMPOSITION TO REMOVE OR PREVENT ACNE
The invention refers to an antimicrobial, exfoliating and seboregulating hydrosoluble composition comprising a combination of diallyl disulphide modified oxide (DDMO) and alpha hydroxyethanoic acid (glycolic acid), which acts removing bacteria affecting the skin including those caused by acne, said composition also provides deep cleansing, exfoliating action, reduces epidermal cohesion facilitating cellular change, preventing the occurrence of several forms of acne in the skin and additionally producing seboregulating effects by avoiding blockage of sebaceous glands.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING EXTRACTED LIPID COMPRISING DOCOSAHEXAENOIC ACID
The present invention relates to a process for producing ethyl esters of polyunsaturated fatty acids, comprising transesterifying triacylglycerols in extracted plant lipid.
Antimicrobial composition comprising Filobasidium-suppressing agent derived from natural substance
The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition derived from a natural substance. Since the composition effectively suppresses Filobasidium, an organism that has been newly identified as causing dandruff, the present invention can effectively prevent and/or treat seborrhoeic dermatitis and dandruff. Also, since the antimicrobial composition of the present invention includes a natural substance as an active ingredient, little consumer aversion will result. Also, it is expected that the antimicrobial composition of the present invention can be used for developing an antidandruff agent having a reduced content of materials which are typically used as antidandruff agents and the safety of which is questionable.
GUM RESIN AS A CARRIER FOR TOPICAL APPLICATION OF PHARMACOLOGICALLY ACTIVE AGENTS
Described are pharmacological compositions comprising a gum resin; a pharmacologically active agent and a topically acceptable volatile solvent for the gum resin and active agent. Also described are methods for the transdermal or transmucosal delivery of a pharmacologically active agent using such compositions.
