METHOD FOR PRODUCING COLOR SECURE IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT AND COLOR SECURE IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT THEREOF

The disclosure relates to the technical field of secure identification document, specifically to a method for producing a color secure identification document and a color secure identification document thereof. The method comprises: etching identity information on the substrate of the data surface of document by laser, and the identity information comprises a black-and-white image and text information; printing a color image on the black-and-white image with color ink so that the color image and the black-and-white image are aligned and coincide with each other to form a personalized data surface; and printing a transparent protective layer on the upper surface of the personalized data surface with a transparent varnish, wherein the protective layer covers the color image.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING SECURE IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT WITH COLOR PORTRAIT AND SECURE IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT THEREOF

The disclosure relates to the technical field of secure identification document, specifically to a method for producing a secure identification document with a color portrait and a secure identification document thereof. The method comprises: etching identity information on the substrate of the data surface of document by laser, and the identity information comprises a black-and-white portrait and text information; printing a color portrait in a blank space of the substrate with color ink to obtain a personalized data surface, and the color portrait is an enlargement of the black-and-white portrait in equal proportion; and printing a transparent protective layer with a transparent varnish on the upper surface of the personalized data surface, wherein the protective layer covers the color portrait.

Graphic articles comprising polylactic acid polymer based film

A graphic article comprising a Poly lactic acid (PLA) based film and in particular, an ink layer depicting a graphic is described. The PLA based film comprises a semicrystalline polylactic acid polymer, a second of a polyvinyl acetate polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least 25° C., and plasticizer. The article is typically a tape or sheet that may further comprise an adhesive (e.g. pressure sensitive) and a low adhesion backsize or a release liner. A method of forming a graphic article using the film of the invention is also disclosed.

A method of forming an image on a print media including releasably securing a fabric layer to a carrier layer, the carrier layer including a first surface including a first area, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a first rigidity, the fabric layer including a third surface, a fourth surface opposite the third surface and including a second area, and a second rigidity less than the first rigidity, and a first adhesive, wherein the fabric layer is secured to the carrier layer by the first adhesive bonding a first portion of the fourth surface to the first surface, applying a first liquid marking material to a first portion of the third surface of the fabric layer, and drying the first liquid marking material to the first portion of the third surface with a first dryer.

Screen printing apparatus and method of printing including controlling the height of the ink droop

A printing apparatus includes a screen with an opening through which ink passes. A resin material is formed with a recessed portion and a projection relatively projecting from the recessed portion. When a top surface of a projection is printed with ink, an inner edge of the opening is displaced toward the recessed portion. The height of an ink droop formed at the inner edge of the opening is set to be smaller than a depth of the recessed portion at a position facing the ink droop.

DIRECT PRINTING ONTO EXTRUDED PVC SLATS
20210114391 · 2021-04-22 · ·

Described is a process and system for direct printing of a decorative pattern onto an extruded PVC slat. The process includes providing a hot extruded PVC slat; directly contacting a surface of the hot extruded PVC slat with a direct printing cylinder as the slat is moved in a downstream direction, where the cylinder has a pattern with a cell structure that receives ink and rotates to directly apply the ink in the form of the pattern onto the surface of the hot extruded PVC slat. The process also includes controlling a temperature of the direct printing cylinder to inhibit drying of the ink while present on the direct printing cylinder.
