METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR DIRECT PRINT HAVING IMPROVED RECYCLABILITY
The disclosure relates to ink compositions for digital printing on an external surface of a plastic article. The ink compositions comprise an ink removal-promoting additive. In some aspects, the ink removal-promoting additive can facilitate the separation or loosening of the image from the external surface of the article when the image is exposed to a liquid-based solution at an elevated temperature. Also disclosed are recyclable plastic articles having an external surface with an image printed thereon using the disclosed ink composition and methods for removing cured ink from a plastic container. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.
Methods of Manufacturing Decorative Laminate Panels
A method for manufacturing a personalized or customized decorative surface (103) having decorative laminate panels (119) including the steps of: segmenting a digital image of the personalized or customized decorative surface (103) into a plurality of decorative laminate panel images (108), wherein each decorative laminate panel image (108) is sized to fit on a decorative laminate panel (119); assigning a positioning code (109) to a decorative laminate panel image (108) for identifying its position in the digital image of the personalized or customized decorative surface (103); creating a non-staggered digital layout (110) of the plurality of decorative laminate panel images (108); inkjet printing the non-staggered digital layout (110) on a substrate (112); heat pressing the inkjet printed substrate with a protective layer (115) into a decorative laminate (113); dividing the decorative laminate (113) into decorative laminate panels (119), wherein the front side of a decorative laminate panel (119) includes one of the plurality of inkjet printed decorative laminate panel images (108) and the back-side of decorative laminate panel (119) includes the positioning code (109) of the decorative laminate panel image (108) inkjet printed on the front side of the decorative laminate panel (119).
Dye Printing Treatment Liquid Composition, Composition Set, Printing Method, And Ink Jet Printing Method
A dye printing treatment liquid composition to be adhered to a cloth, includes: a polyester resin having a glass transition temperature of 40° C. or more; a cross-linking agent; and water, and the cloth contains fibers which have hydroxy groups.
Multi-Layered Composite For EMI Shielding
A multi-layered composite comprising a substrate and a conductive film is provided. The substrate contains a polymer composition that contains a thermoplastic polymer having a deflection temperature under load of about 40° C. or more as determined in accordance with ISO 75-2:2013 at a load of 1.8 MPa. The conductive film contains a noble metal. The composite exhibits an electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness of about 25 decibels or more as determined in accordance with ASTM D4935-18 at a frequency of 10 GHz and thickness of 3 millimeters.
Ink Jet Recording Method And Method Of Packaging Packaged Object
An ink jet recording method is a method including a jetting step of jetting a radiation-curable ink jet composition to adhere to a recording medium that shrinks when heated, and a curing step of curing the radiation-curable ink jet composition by irradiating the radiation-curable ink jet composition adhered to the recording medium with radiation, in which the recorded material has a first region and a second region where shrinkage ratios due to the heating in a main surface direction are different when the recorded material is shrunk by being heated and brought into close contact with a packaged object, the shrinkage ratio of the first region in the main surface direction is greater than the shrinkage ratio of the second region in the main surface direction, and the radiation-curable ink jet composition adheres to the recording medium such that a film thickness of a cured film formed in the first region is less than a film thickness of a cured film formed in the second region.
Recording Method And Recording Apparatus
A recording method of the present disclosure includes: an adhesion step of ejecting an ink composition from an ink jet head so as to be adhered to a recording medium; and a primary heating step of heating the ink composition adhered to the recording medium in the adhesion step, and the ink composition is a water-based ink containing an organic compound which is a solid at 25° C. having a standard boiling point of 280° C. or less and which has a solubility of 50 [g/100 g of water] or more in water at 25° C.
Ink, inkjet recording method, inkjet recording apparatus, and recorded matter
Provided is an ink containing water, a plurality of organic solvents, a color material, and resin particles, wherein the plurality of organic solvents contain at least one compound having a hydrogen bond term δH, which is a Hansen solubility parameter, of 4.1 MPa.sup.1/2 or higher but 9.5 MPa.sup.1/2 or lower and a boiling point of 170° C. or higher and at least one diol compound containing 3 or 4 carbon atoms.
Method for manufacturing a tableware article having a thermal-transfer printed pattern
A method for manufacturing a tableware article having a thermal-transfer printed pattern includes the following steps. Firstly, a PET resin composition including 3 to 15% by weight of an inorganic filler is provided. Next, the PET resin composition is granulated to obtain plastic granules. Then, the plastic granules are molded into the tableware article and the tableware article is post-crystallized. Finally, a thermal transfer printed pattern is printed on a surface of the post-crystallized tableware article.
Recording method and recording apparatus
A recording method for using a line-type recording apparatus to scan a recording medium with a plurality of line heads once for recording, the line heads having a width greater than or equal to the recording width of the recording medium, the method including a treatment liquid deposition step of depositing a treatment liquid containing a coagulant on the recording medium, and an ink deposition step of ejecting a coloring ink composition from the line heads to deposit the coloring ink composition on the recording medium, wherein in the ink deposition step an identical coloring ink composition is ejected from a first line head placed on the upstream side in the transport direction perpendicular to the width direction of the recording medium and from a second line head placed on the downstream side in the transport direction.
