DIGITAL PRINTING WITH TRANSPARENT BLANK INK
A method, a panel and equipment to form a digital print by applying dry ink, preferably including particles of pigment coated wood fibres, on a surface, bonding a part of the particles with a liquid blank ink drops and removing the non-bonded particles from the surface. A panel having a surface with a wood grain dcor, the panel including a first surface portion that is formed by a continuous basic layer including wood fibres having a first color, and a second surface portion that is formed by wood fibres having a second color, wherein the wood fibres having the second color are applied on and bonded to the continuous basic layer, and wherein the second surface portion covers a part of the first surface portion.
INKJET PRINTING METHOD ON NATURAL LEATHER
An inkjet printing method on natural leather by a digital leather printer includes providing a hide, having an edge, on a rigid support for obtaining a flat decoration area of the hide; fastening the hide to the rigid support by clamping the edge; and jetting with an inkjet printhead unit, facing a side of the flat decoration area, a decorative image on the flat decoration area of the fastened hide; wherein the edge is clamped opposite to the side of the flat decoration area.
SKIN PRINTING SOLUTION SYSTEM, SKIN PRINTING DEVICE, SKIN PRINTER AND IMAGE PRINTING METHOD THEREFOR, IMAGE PROVIDING METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR, AND TWO-COMPONENT INK FOR SKIN PRINT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A skin printing solution system includes a skin printing device that provides a user with a skin printing solution user interface including an online art gallery, a skin printing server that provides the online art gallery to the skin printing device, and a skin printer that outputs a tattoo image received from the skin printing device to a print region. Herein, when the user selects a tattoo image through the skin printing solution user interface, the skin printing device receives the selected tattoo image from the skin printing server and transmits the received tattoo image to the skin printer. In addition, the online art gallery includes multiple tattoo images, and the print region is the skin of the user or a different user.
AQUEOUS POLYURETHANE RESIN DISPERSION
An aqueous polyurethane resin dispersion includes a cationic group and a polyalkylene oxide in a side chain thereof. The polyurethane resin is obtainable by reacting a polyester polyol, a polyether diol, a polyol containing a quaternary N-atom or tertiary amino group, and a polyisocyanate. The polyester polyol is obtained by reacting an aromatic polycarboxylic acid and a polyol. The polyurethane resin is suitable as a resin in treatment liquids of substrates and images made by inkjet printing.
Digital printing with transparent blank ink
A method, a panel and equipment to form a digital print by applying dry ink (15), preferably including particles of pigment coated wood fibres (61), on a surface (2), bonding a part of the particles with a liquid blank ink drops (57) and removing the non-bonded particles from the surface (2).
Image processing apparatus and image processing method
An image processing apparatus includes an image acquirer that acquires a first skin image obtained by capturing an image of a skin at a first timing and a second skin image obtained by capturing an image of the skin at a second timing later than the first timing, an image analyzer that extracts a first discolored area from a first skin image and extracts a color of the skin from the second skin image, an image determiner that determines a cover area within the second skin image based on the first discolored area and determines a color of the cover area based on the color of the skin, and a print controller that generates image data with a content for printing an image of the determined cover area on the sheet by using a coloring material of the determined color.
Manufacturing method for printed matter with three-dimensional pattern
Provided is a manufacturing method for a printed matter including a medium and a three-dimensional pattern printed on a surface of the medium. The three-dimensional pattern has a partly-coated resin portion and further has layers including a colored layer and clear layers formed on the colored layer. The three-dimensional pattern is formed by stacking the layers formed of inks at least containing resin on one another. One of the clear layers formed on an outermost surface of the three-dimensional pattern is flattened for a longer duration than at least one of the other one of the clear layers and the colored layer that are formed below the clear layer on the outermost surface, so that the one of the clear layers on the outermost surface is further flattened than at least one of the other one of the clear layers and the colored layer.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRINTED MATTER
A method for producing printed matter is disclosed that includes applying a pretreatment liquid containing a resin and a pretreatment liquid containing a coagulant to a substrate, and after the applying of these pretreatment liquids, applying an aqueous inkjet ink to the substrate using an inkjet system.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRINTED MATTER
A method for producing printed matter that includes applying one of a first pretreatment liquid and a second pretreatment liquid, the other of the first pretreatment liquid and the second pretreatment liquid, and then an aqueous ink, in this order, to a recording region of a substrate using an inkjet recording apparatus, wherein the first pretreatment liquid and the second pretreatment liquid are jetted so as to land on the substrate in a fixed order, the first pretreatment liquid contains a coagulant, and the second pretreatment liquid does not contain a coagulant, but contains a penetrant.
ECO-FRIENDLY SIGNAGE
Eco-friendly signs such as wood and other natural material signs, and methods of making eco-friendly signs, including selecting a substrate as a base material having a first planar surface and an opposing second planar surface, cutting the substrate to a sign dimension, treating the first planar surface to form a smooth print surface, applying a base layer such as a layer of clear ink to the print surface, and applying a signage layer onto the base layer. The eco-friendly sign may be an ADA compliant sign in which the signage layer is a raised of ink produced using a 3-dimensional printer.
