INK JET LIQUID COMPOSITION AND INK JET RECORDING METHOD
An ink jet liquid composition contains an organic solvent, a polymerizable compound, a photopolymerization initiator, and a polyether-modified siloxane compound having a weight-average molecular weight of 3,000 or more, and the content of the organic solvent is 40% by mass or more and 90% by mass or less with respect to the total mass of the composition. In addition, an ink jet recording method using the ink jet liquid composition is provided.
PRINTING AND DRYING INSTALLATION AND PRINTING AND DRYING METHOD
The present invention concerns an installation for printing and drying a part having a surface. The installation includes a printing means comprising a printhead, a control unit, a support device suitable and intended for supporting the part, the support device and printhead being movable relative to each other, drying means including a source and an emission output, the emission output and support device being movable relative to each other, and means for adjusting and orienting the beam specifically associated with the source and/or with emission output.
Ink Jet Ink Composition And Recording Method
An ink jet ink composition functioning as a water-based magenta ink includes an azo-based pigment and a 1,2-alkanediol having 4 to 8 carbon atoms. In the ink jet ink composition described above, the azo-based pigment has a volume average particle diameter D50 of 110 nm or less, and a content of the 1,2-alkanediol having 4 to 8 carbon atoms with respect to a total mass of the composition is 3.5 percent by mass or less.
Can body manufacturing method, printing device, and beverage can
The printing device, first, as shown in FIG. 2A, forms white layers (90) by a first white inkjet head on the surface of the can body (10). Next, as shown in FIG. 2B, irradiation of ultraviolet rays by a first irradiation lamp (261) is performed and the white layers (90) are cured. Then, the can body (10) is moved to a second white inkjet head and, as shown in FIG. 2C, more white ink is loaded on some of the white layers (90) formed by the first white inkjet head. As a result, the thickness of some of the white layers (90) is increased. Next, the can body (10) passes successively under multiple color inkjet heads. As a result, color ink layers (91) are formed on the surface of the can body (10) and the white layers (90), as shown in FIG. 2D.
Process for producing decorated medallions and metals
A process for customization of decoration that allows efficient production of small batches of custom awards medallions, medals and coins, particularly suitable for die cast medal medallions, medals and coins. The invention is also the medallions, medals and coins made by the process.
Three-dimensional (3D) printing
In a 3D printing method example, color is added to a part. A build material is applied, and is pre-heated to a temperature ranging from about 50 C to about 400 C. A black ink, including an infrared absorbing colorant, is selectively applied on at least a portion of the build material. A white ink, including a white colorant that is opaque in visible wavelengths and is transparent to infrared wavelengths, is selectively applied on the black ink. A colored ink, including a colorant having a color other than black or white, is selectively applied on the white ink. The build material and the applied inks are then exposed to infrared radiation. The black ink at least partially fuses the portion of the build material in contact therewith. At least some of the white colorant and the colorant are embedded in the at least partially fused portion at a surface thereof.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR DIRECT PRINT HAVING IMPROVED RECYCLABILITY
The disclosure relates to ink compositions for digital printing on an external surface of a plastic article. The ink compositions comprise an ink removal-promoting additive. In some aspects, the ink removal-promoting additive can facilitate the separation or loosening of the image from the external surface of the article when the image is exposed to a liquid-based solution at an elevated temperature. Also disclosed are recyclable plastic articles having an external surface with an image printed thereon using the disclosed ink composition and methods for removing cured ink from a plastic container. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.
Tablet printing apparatus and tablet manufacturing method
A tablet printing apparatus and a tablet manufacturing method are provided which are capable of distinguishing and collecting a preceding tablet and a following tablet from each other when two or more tablets in contact with each other are carried. A tablet printing apparatus includes a carrying device 20 carrying tablets Tb, a sensor 30 detecting the tablet Tb being carried by the carrying device 20, a printing unit 50 performing, when the status changes from the status in which the sensor 30 the tablet Tb is not detected to the status in which the tablet Tb is detected, printing on the tablet Tb that has changed the status, and a collecting unit R distinguishing and collecting, when the time length at which the sensor 30 is detecting the tablet Tb is longer than the predetermined setting value because two or more tablets Tb in contact with each other are carried, the preceding tablet Tb and the following tablet Tb following thereto among two or more tablets Tb.
Printable Merchandise Holder for Printing of Contoured Objects
A system for printing on a multi-dimensional object includes a plurality of print heads, and a printing chase comprising one or more alignment elements configured to provide accurate registration of an object holder (also configured as an object packaging) relative to the print heads. The system further includes an actuator configured to move the printing chase relative to the print heads. The system is configured to receive information corresponding to an alignment element that is employed for positioning the object holder on the printing chase, determine a position a printable area using the retrieved information, receive information relating to print data to be printed on the printable area, use the determined position of the printable area to control a movement of the printing chase relative to the print heads, and operate the print heads to eject marking material onto the printable area to print data on the printable area.
