Decoration by Sublimation Transfer Sheet
A sublimation transfer sheet assembly including a first layer and an dye or ink layer positioned on a first side of the first layer. The first layer and the dye or ink layer being positioned such that when the sublimation transfer sheet assembly is wrapped about an object with the dye or ink layer facing the object, a first edge portion of the sublimation transfer sheet assembly is overlapped by a second edge portion of the sublimation transfer sheet assembly, and the first edge portion is interposed between the second edge portion and the object.

MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR OBTAINING A DECORATIVE PANEL FOR SHOWER TRAYS
A manufacturing method for a decorative panel for shower trays formed by a polymeric panel (1) made of a solid-surface material, comprises coating the outer surfaces of the polymeric panel (1) with a decorative pattern (2) printed on said outer surfaces using an ink which is transferred to said panel (1) by sublimation in a vacuum chamber under predetermined temperature, pressure, and time conditions. The panel (1) has a perimetral area (3) having a greater thickness and at least one non-perimetral area (4) having a smaller thickness, wherein all the surfaces of the panel (1) coated with the decorative pattern have a uniform finish. A protective layer is placed on a non-perimetric zone (4) of the panel to prevent overheating during the panel curing process and to avoid imperfections on the decorative pattern from being formed on the non-perimetric zone (4)
TEXTILE PRINTING INK JET INK COMPOSITION AND TEXTILE PRINTING METHOD
According to the present disclosure, a textile printing ink jet ink composition includes a thioindigo-skeleton-containing dye and elemental sulfur. A content of the elemental sulfur in the textile printing ink jet ink composition is 0.01 ppm or greater and 500 ppm or less relative to the total mass of the ink composition.
Dye sublimation-receptive transfer film
The present application is directed to a transferable film for dye sublimation, the film comprising, in an example implementation, a carrier film; and a dye sublimation-receptive layer comprising a base resin that undergoes crosslinking at elevated temperatures. In an example implementation, the dye sublimation-receptive layer comprises an acrylic copolymer with acrylate reactive groups. Methods of using the transferrable film to create a dye sublimation-receptive surface are also provided, as are substrates having a substantially non-receptive to dye sublimation inks onto which is formed a thermally crosslinked layer to the substrate surface.
INKJET INKS
The present disclosure is drawn to inkjet inks, which can include an aqueous ink vehicle and a pigment particle having a block copolymer attached to a surface of the pigment particle. The block copolymer can be linked to the surface through a silyl coupling group. The block copolymer can include a steric stabilizing block formed by polymerizing a monomer having a sterically bulky group, and an ionic stabilizing block formed by polymerizing a monomer having an acidic group or a basic group.
Method and compositions for applying a material onto articles
Apparatuses and methods for applying a transfer material from a transfer component onto the surface of an article are disclosed, including apparatuses and methods of transfer printing on and/or decorating three-dimensional articles, as well as the articles printed and/or decorated thereby. In some embodiments, the method may utilize a printer such as an inkjet printer. In some cases, the transfer material may be a UV curable ink and/or adhesive. When the transfer material is UV curable, the transfer component may be permeable to UV radiation to allow curing of the ink and/or adhesive therethrough. UV curable adhesives including thiol-acrylate and thiol-ene acrylate inkjet-able adhesives are disclosed.
TRANSFER PAPER
The object is to provide a transfer paper having good image deterioration resistance, color development property and adhesion property.
The object is achieved by a transfer paper for use in a transfer textile printing method using sublimation textile ink, which comprises a base paper and one or more coating layer(s) provided on at least one side of the base paper, wherein an outermost coating layer positioned on the outermost side with respect to the base paper contains at least a pigment and a binder, at least one of the pigment is amorphous silica, and the binder contains two or more different binders, and at least one of the binders is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
