A SOUND TUNING LAYER AND A PANEL FOR ACOUSTIC TREATMENT OF A SPACE
20220268029 · 2022-08-25 ·

The present invention is enclosed in the area of acoustic treatment, therefore solutions for adapting/tuning the acoustic performance of a space, wherein such space may take very varied forms: a living space such as a living or sleeping room (100), a lobby or a recording room (100). It is an object of the present invention a sound tuning layer which is PE based and obtained from the steps of sublimation of a PE based starting material with an open cell structure, and subsequent cold pressing, said cold pressing being performed at a lower temperature as regards the sublimation step, and while the sublimated sound tuning layer is still hot, and thereby forming the sound tuning layer, with an open cell structure. It therefore provides a more environmentally friendly and simple solution than those of prior art.

Image transfer material and polymer composition

Provided is an image transfer material, comprising a support, optionally at least one barrier layer, a melt transfer layer, and an image receiving layer. Also provided is a process for preparing the image transfer material. Further provided is a heat transfer process using the disclosed material. In the heat transfer process, after imaging, the image receiving layer and melt transfer layer are peeled away from the optionally barrier-coated support material and placed, preferably image side up, on top of a receptor element. A non-stick sheet is then optionally placed over the imaged peeled material and heat is applied to the top of the optional non stick sheet. The melt transfer layer then melts and adheres the image to the receptor element. A composition comprising: at least one self-crosslinking polymer, and at least one dye retention aid.

IMAGE ADDING SYSTEM, PRINTER, CLOTH HOLDER, AND HOLDER WITH CLOTH

An image adding system includes a cloth holder to hold a cloth to which an image is added, a printer to print the cloth held by the cloth holder with an image, and a heater to heat the cloth. The cloth holder is used by both the printer and the heater with the cloth held on the cloth holder when the printer prints the image on the cloth and the heater heats the cloth.

A panel includes a thermoset material, and an image comprising sublimation ink. The sublimation ink is absorbed in the thermoset material. The rigid component may be a rigid structure formed by the thermoset material. The panel may be for a bath or shower enclosure.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING GROMMETED DRAPERY TO ORDER
20210378434 · 2021-12-09 ·

A method of producing custom grommeted drapery that minimizes the need for inventorying of materials includes printing selected patterns or designs on assembled blank drapery. The blank drapery includes all of the layers of textile joined together as a unit, include a printing side or layer and a blackout side or layer. The blank drapery also have grommet holes punched in them, before or after printing the drapery. Once a selection is made, a blank drapery is then printed using the selected design, and then grommets can be assembled into grommet holes punched through the drapery along a top edge of the drapery. The inventive process obviates the need to inventory multiple different materials that are conventionally assembled together after printing a layer of textile for finishing.
