There is also provided a dosage form for skin rejuvenation comprising 1-5% (w/w) lyophilised umbilical cord plasma comprising at least one active chemokine, at least one growth factor and at least one cytokine; 85-95% (w/w) polyethylene glycol; and 0.1-2% (w/w) gum acacia.
COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING A BACTERIAL STRAIN LACTOBACILLUS PARACASEI AND HYALURONIC ACID AND THE USE THEREOF FOR THE TREATMENT OF THE SKIN
A composition is described comprising probiotics (live and viable or inactivated bacterial strains) and hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof and related use in prevention, treatment (therapeutic or cosmetic curative) or attenuation of at least one sign or symptom associated with, or caused by, skin aging. Use of the composition is also described in prevention or treatment (therapeutic or cosmetic curative) or attenuation of at least one sign or symptom associated with or caused by a reduction in the immune defences of the skin or by an inflammation/infection of the skin, such as an inflammation induced or caused by UV rays.
NATURAL FOOD ANTIOXIDANT AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME
The present invention discloses a natural food antioxidant and a method for preparing the same, and belongs to the field of food industry technology. The food antioxidant includes main components of a red clover extract, whose main components are isoflavones, polysaccharides and the mixtures of isoflavones and polysaccharides. Different ingredients have different characteristics in activities, water solubilities and production cost accounting. Combining factors such as activity, solubility and cost, a compounding solution of different ingredients can be used. Especially, the best synergic effect and the highest activity are shown in the mixture of polysaccharides and isoflavones with mass ratio of 1:2. As a leguminous forage, red clover is widely distributed all over the world and has abundant sources. The isoflavones of red clover are usually used as health function. The product of the present invention is easy to be prepared in a safe and environmental process with lower cost, and diversified formulae to satisfy different purposes, which has very wide application prospects.
OXIDATIVE STRESS INHIBITOR AND ANTIOXIDANT AGENT
An oxidative stress inhibitor 100 of the present invention contains silicon particles capable of generating hydrogen. In a preferred aspect of the oxidative stress inhibitor 100, the following effects (a) and/or (b) can be exhibited. (a) The total amount of generation (total amount of production) is increased. (b) The amount of generation of hydrogen per unit time (i.e. rate of generation of hydrogen), particularly the rate of generation of hydrogen in the initial stage is increased.
Method for enhancing expression of antioxidant in epidermis
To enhance expression of an antioxidant-related substance in an epidermis by using a diacylglycerol PEG adduct, a method for enhancing expression of an antioxidant-related substance in an epidermis is provided which includes applying a diacylglycerol PEG adduct to the epidermis as an active ingredient. The antioxidant-related substance is an oxidative stress response gene, an antioxidant enzyme, or an antioxidant protein. The diacylglycerol PEG adduct is selected from the group consisting of PEG-12 glycerol dimyristate (GDM12), PEG-12 glycerol distearate (GDS12), PEG-23 glycerol distearate (GDS23), PEG-23 glycerol dipalmitate (GDP23), and PEG-12 glycerol dioleate (GDO12).

TARGETED NITROXIDE AGENTS
Provided herein are compositions and related methods useful for free radical scavenging, with particular selectivity for mitochondria. The compounds comprise a nitroxide-containing group attached to a mitochondria-targeting group. The compounds can be cross-linked into dimers without loss of activity. Also provided herein are methods, for preventing, mitigating and treating damage caused by radiation. The method comprises delivering a compound, as described herein, to a patient in an amount and dosage regimen effective to prevent, mitigate or treat damage caused by radiation.
USE OF MITOCHONDRIAL EXTRACT TO TREAT AND/OR PREVENT KIDNEY INJURY-RELATED DISEASE
The present invention discloses a use of a mitochondrial extract to treat and/or prevent a kidney injury-related disease. Specifically, by administering the mitochondrial extract disclosed in the present invention to a patient having a kidney injury-related disease, the kidney injury-related disease can be effectively alleviated and prevented from deterioration.
