A photograph album (10) with a square spine comprises a cover (12) having a first sheet (17), a second sheet (18), and a central square spine (19) which connects the first sheet (17) to the second sheet, and a plurality of pages (13, 14, 15) bound reciprocally in correspondence to a first side (16a) to define a book body (11), characterized in that the last of said pages (14) is partly connected to the internal surface of said second sheet (18), having a first surface portion (21) solidly associated to the internal surface of said second sheet (18), to define the only connection between said cover (12) and said book body (11), and a second surface portion (22) free and not connected to the internal surface of said second sheet (18), said first surface portion (21) being a part of the last of said pages (14) disposed in proximity to a second side (16b) of said last page (14), opposite said first side (16a).

Disclosed book light embodiments 100 may include the construction of a flexible diffuser shade 200, flexible back binding system 300 contained and attached to a first back cover 400 and a second back cover 410. A book light may take the form of a closed book when not in use. When a light source is desired a book light may expand to open to any angle, all the way open to 360 degrees and expose a folded flexible diffuser shade 200. The first and second back covers may be opened in any position to accommodate a desired spread of the flexible diffuser shade. Magnets in the first and second back covers help to retain the back covers in a desired position and to mate or chain other book lights together.

TAB BOOKLET AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A booklet, in the form of a tab booklet, includes a cover and a reading passage page that has a first portion in which first content is contained and a side tab that extends outwardly along a first side edge. The reading passage page includes a fold line that defines a top portion and a bottom portion of the reading passage page. The booklet includes a plurality of tabbed pages located subsequent to the reading passage page. Each tabbed page includes a tab formed along a top edge of the tabbed page, wherein the tabs of the tabbed pages are laterally offset from one another when the booklet is constructed. The fold line is located such that when the top portion is folded along the fold line and is superimposed over the bottom portion, the tabs are visible and extend above the folded reading passage page. The booklet is fastened along a left side edge of the cover and the left side edges of the tabbed pages and along a left side edge of the tab portion.

An apparatus for forming and sorting informational items comprises a folding unit, a conveyor belt, a camera, a controller, and a diverter assembly. The folding unit forms a folded article from a sheet of paper. The conveyor belt transports the folded article. The camera captures an image of the folded article as it passes by the camera. The controller receives and processes the image, and the diverter assembly causes the folded article to move off of the conveyor belt when the controller determines that the folded article fails to satisfy at least one predetermined criteria.
