Binder scanner and page turning apparatus and method
A device (e.g., scanner) for handling a paper holder (binder) having an upper cover, a lower cover, and at least one paper held therein is made available, the device including a control circuit, a lifting mechanism comprising an adhesive member, and an image capturing device. The adhesive member is configured to removably attach to the upper cover of the paper holder. The lifting mechanism is configured to flip the upper cover of the binder open when the adhesive member is attached to the upper cover. The lifting mechanism is configured to detach from the binder and return to its original position after the upper cover is flipped open. The image capturing device is configured to take one or more images of the open binder after the lifting mechanism is detached from the binder and returned to its original position away from the binder after the upper cover is flipped open.

APPARATUS FOR TURNING PAGES OF A BOOK AND METHOD FOR SAME
A page-turner restricts the movement of a page to be turned by pressing a predetermined upper surface on the binding side of the page by an arm until, an end of the page starts to be caught at a page-turning end point by a catching section, in synchronization with a page-turning operation. The page turner rotates the arm so the arm enters a released state which is a substantially vertical state at timing at which the page separates from a sticking section and starts to be caught by the catching section. The page to be turned is pulled in by a page holding section while being inclined without the end of the page curling in a U shape.
APPARATUS FOR TURNING PAGES OF BOOK AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING BOOK
Support auxiliary members are each constituted by an elongate member having a triangular prism shape and extending from one end to the other end of a holding plate. The support auxiliary member is arranged between a book holder and the final page of a book at a page-turning start point, and supports the vicinity of a binding portion of the book so as to lift it from below. The support auxiliary member is arranged between the holding plate and a spine portion of the book placed on the holding plate, and supports the spine portion. The support auxiliary members form a V-shaped structure only in the vicinity of the binding portion of the book because of their shapes and installation positions, whereby the spine portion of the book is held in a downwardly curved state.
Apparatus for controlling page turning, method for same and storage medium
The book page turning operation of an automatic page turning apparatus is controlled by a tablet. Every time the automatic page turning apparatus completes a page turning operation, the tablet photographs the page and stores its image. During this processing, the tablet stops the series of page turning operations of the automatic page turning apparatus every time a sequential page-turning count m reaches a preset interruption page count M. Then, the tablet restarts the series of page turning operations in response to a photographing restart instruction from the user. As a result of this configuration, the user is freed from an operation of stopping a page turning operation during image photographing.

APPARATUS FOR TURNING PAGES OF A BOOK AND METHOD FOR SAME
An apparatus for turning a page of an opened book includes an arm section which has an adhesion member provided on a tip end portion; a driving section which reciprocates the adhesion member via the arm section; a detection section which detects an overcurrent applied to the driving section; and a control section which controls timing at which the adhesion member that is reciprocated by the driving section starts reverse rotation. The control section, when reversing a moving direction of the adhesion member from a direction toward a starting point of page turning to a direction toward an end point of the page turning, reverses the moving direction based on a timing of the overcurrent by the detection section.
APPARATUS FOR TURNING PAGE AND METHOD FOR TURNING PAGE
An apparatus which turns a page of an open book, includes an arm; a sticking part which is attached to a tip portion of an arm, wherein, the sticking part comes into contact with a page at a departure position and the sticking part separates from a page at a destination position; a driver which drives the arm to make the sticking part perform a to-and-fro movement between the departure position and the destination position; and a controller which controls the driver to temporarily stop the movement of the sticking part on a way to the destination position from the departure position.
