Separable or opening portions for printable sheet material
A printable sheet material includes a panel having an integral separable portion and a starting mechanism formed on the separable portion. At least two tearable lines are formed in the panel permitting the separable portion to be at least partially separated from a remaining portion of the panel by tearing in either of opposite directions. Each tearable line includes a plurality of open V channeling cuts spaced along the line, each of the channeling cuts formed by a pair of converging cuts having a wider spaced end and a narrower spaced end. The channeling cuts are oriented with the wider spaced ends facing toward the starting mechanism and the narrower spaced ends pointed in a tearing direction extending away from the starting mechanism. The channeling cuts of the two lines share one of the converging cuts.
Folding Apparatus and Corresponding Method
An apparatus (10) for folding sheets (17) and corresponding method, comprising at least a conditioning body (11), at least a folding unit (13) and at least an extraction mean (12) suitable to fold sheets (17) in sequence of variable formats, maintaining high cadences and at the same time simplifying the structure for the maintenance operations and/or format-changes.
Tri-fold card and manufacturing method therefor
A tri-fold card of the present invention has such a shape that the tri-fold card can be unfolded to the state in which three cards are lined up adjacent to each other, and has a tangent line or a boundary between the middle one of three cards and each of the cards at both ends of the card. The lined-up cards are bonded to a plastic film mount. The tri-fold card is folded from an unfolded state to a folded state. In folding, the tri-fold card is mountain-folded at each tangent line or each boundary. As necessary, a pattern or characters is/are printed on one or both sides of the cards.
HANDLING DEVICE FOR A VALUABLE ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HANDLING DEVICE
The invention relates to a handling device for a valuable article that is usable as a means of payment and is of flat extent or punctiform. The handling device comprises a carrier element of flat extent that is foldable and bendable into a wave form and at least one valuable article fixed thereto. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a handling device for a valuable article.
Sheet with feeding perforation
A printable sheet assembly and method provide for feeding cardstock sheets through a printer. The printable sheet assembly may include a first fold region. The first fold region comprises a robust perforated line disposed horizontally across the sheet assembly. The printable sheet assembly may include a second fold region. The second fold region may comprise a second robust perforated line disposed horizontally across the sheet assembly. The sheet assembly may include a product such as a name tag, business card, label, or card formed into the sheet assembly and configured to be processed through a printer device to receive indicia thereon.
Sheet, sheet conveying apparatus and sheet conveying method
An embodiment of the invention is directed to a sheet, wherein a conveying direction of the sheet relative to a sheet conveying apparatus is determined; the sheet is formed with a crease along which to fold the sheet and that is smaller than or equal to 90 M in depth and extends in a direction that crosses the conveying direction; and a grammage of the sheet is in a range of 200 to 370 g/m.sup.2.
Extended content booklet labels
An extended content booklet label having a substrate, a folded booklet and overlaminate. The overlaminate is applied to secure the multi-up book to the substrate. The area between the booklet and the substrate is devoid of adhesive so that the substrate can conform to the shape of a container without interference from the booklet. The booklet is held closed against the substrate by the overlaminate which extends beyond the booklet to adhere to the substrate or the container. The overlaminate can pivot away from the container to an open position where the booklet can be unfolded to access all of the pages.
Erasably Writeable Novelty Item
A novelty item for the amusement of children, said item including a plurality of mats made from a flexible material that is adapted to receive erasable ink markings; wherein said mats are linked in an array and foldably connected along a straight edge, thereby to enable the folding of said array of mats into a compact form wherein all of said mats will lay flat and aligned; wherein said foldable connections are debossed trenches extending fully across at least one surface of said mats.
Three-ring easel binder with extension supports
A three-ring binder apparatus with extension supports for the secure, hands-free display of up to six pages of material without requiring any other external supports is described. The apparatus facilitates a simple method to turn the pages on an easel or similar freestanding display, and secure them in a desired position. The apparatus is designed as a tool for the display of choreographed workouts, music sheets, and any other situation where multiple pages are needed to be easily accessed. The apparatus consists of a three-ring binder (may be either a freestanding three-ring easel binder or a standard flat three-ring binder), two extension supports, and clipboard-style clips that can be pivoted or folded back into the binder to ease the break-down and transport of the apparatus. The device preferably includes clear pocketed tri-fold sheet protectors or other tri-fold devices.
