A printable sheet material includes a panel having an integral separable portion and a starting mechanism formed on the separable portion. At least two tearable lines are formed in the panel permitting the separable portion to be at least partially separated from a remaining portion of the panel by tearing in either of opposite directions. Each tearable line includes a plurality of open V channeling cuts spaced along the line, each of the channeling cuts formed by a pair of converging cuts having a wider spaced end and a narrower spaced end. The channeling cuts are oriented with the wider spaced ends facing toward the starting mechanism and the narrower spaced ends pointed in a tearing direction extending away from the starting mechanism. The channeling cuts of the two lines share one of the converging cuts.

An apparatus (10) for folding sheets (17) and corresponding method, comprising at least a conditioning body (11), at least a folding unit (13) and at least an extraction mean (12) suitable to fold sheets (17) in sequence of variable formats, maintaining high cadences and at the same time simplifying the structure for the maintenance operations and/or format-changes.

A tri-fold card of the present invention has such a shape that the tri-fold card can be unfolded to the state in which three cards are lined up adjacent to each other, and has a tangent line or a boundary between the middle one of three cards and each of the cards at both ends of the card. The lined-up cards are bonded to a plastic film mount. The tri-fold card is folded from an unfolded state to a folded state. A printable sheet assembly and method provide for feeding cardstock sheets through a printer. The printable sheet assembly may include a first fold region. The first fold region comprises a robust perforated line disposed horizontally across the sheet assembly. The printable sheet assembly may include a second fold region. The second fold region may comprise a second robust perforated line disposed horizontally across the sheet assembly. The sheet assembly may include a product such as a name tag, business card, label, or card formed into the sheet assembly and configured to be processed through a printer device to receive indicia thereon.

An extended content booklet label having a substrate, a folded booklet and overlaminate. The overlaminate is applied to secure the multi-up book to the substrate. The area between the booklet and the substrate is devoid of adhesive so that the substrate can conform to the shape of a container without interference from the booklet. The booklet is held closed against the substrate by the overlaminate which extends beyond the booklet to adhere to the substrate or the container. The overlaminate can pivot away from the container to an open position where the booklet can be unfolded to access all of the pages.
