Digital asset generation and communication

Methods and systems are provided that include receiving an instruction to associate a unique identifier with a digital presentation, where the unique identifier is associated with a tangible object, receiving a first digital asset from a first remote device, determining a first media component to prepend to the first digital asset, determining a second media component to append to the first digital asset (which influences the determination of the first media component or the second media component), incorporating the prepended content, digital asset, and appended content into the digital presentation, and associating the unique identifier with the digital presentation in a data store.

System and Method for Printing Scratch-Off Lottery Tickets
20180079237 · 2018-03-22 ·

A method for producing scratch-off lottery tickets in a high speed printing line is provided, wherein the printing line includes one or more inkjet printing machines that print lottery tickets on a continuously running paper stock. One or more primer layers are applied to a surface of the paper stock in a defined game play area on each lottery ticket. With the inkjet printing machines game play indicia is printed over the primer layers in the game play area on each lottery ticket at a resolution of at least 600 dpi. The running paper stock is conveyed through the inkjet printing machines at a rate of at least 950 ft./min. The ink jet printing machines use a specially formulated dye-based ink.

Secure substrate for scratch-off products

In one embodiment, a secure substrate provides a print-ready surface for printing scratch-off products and eliminates the need to print lower security layers for protecting against attempts to view hidden indicia information. In one embodiment, a secure substrate comprises applying microperforations to a dyed substrate that meets a predefined transmission optical density to resist an attempt to reduce the opacity of the dyed substrate by delamination. In another embodiment, a secure substrate comprises applying a lower opacity layer and a lower background layer on a substrate to provide a secure substrate that meets a predefined transmission optical density. In another embodiment, a secure substrate comprises applying a lower opacity layer on a substrate, applying a reflective coating, and applying a lower background layer over the reflective coating to provide a secure substrate that meets a predefined transmission optical density.

EFFICIENT DISTRIBUTED NETWORK IMAGING OF INSTANT LOTTERY TICKETS

A computer-implemented method and system are provided for enabling digital imaging of both secure and non-secure areas of instant lottery tickets on demand across a geographically diverse network. Instant lottery tickets produced with this system accommodate smaller volume print runs, process color, and a greater level of customization.

ENHANCED SECURITY INSTANT TICKETS VIA HOMOGENEOUS UTILIZATION OF DISPLAY/OVERPRINT/BACKING AND VARIABLE INDICIA
20170209780 · 2017-07-27 ·

A printing method or system for making a security-enhanced scratch-off document and the document so made are disclosed. The security-enhanced document includes a substrate, variable indicia, at least one other printed portion having background noise, and a scratch-off-coating layer applied over the variable indicia to maintain the variable indicia unreadable until the scratch-off-coating is removed by being scratched off. The variable indicia includes ink having a signal-to-noise ratio relative to the background ink noise of the document's at least one other printed portion, such that the variable indicia are unreadable with reference to the at least one other printed portion when the scratch-off-coating remains intact. Additionally, digitally imaging countermeasures to unassisted and assisted mechanical SOC lift are also disclosed. These methods and systems enhance the overall appearance of the ticket as well as potentially reduce the time and setup costs between print runs.

Enhanced Security of Scratch-Off Products Using Homogenous Inks or Dyes
20170209781 · 2017-07-27 ·

In one embodiment, a scratch-off product with enhanced security comprises printing indicia and one or more other layers of the scratch-off product using inks and/or dies having the same or a similar chemical composition as the indicia to protect against attempts to view the hidden indicia without scratching-off the scratch-off coating. Printing the indicia and one or more layers of the scratch-off product using inks having the same or a similar chemical composition substantially reduces and/or eliminates the signal-to-noise ratio of the indicia relative to the other portions of the scratch-off product. In one embodiment, some or all of the layers of the scratch-off product are printed to cover the entirety of the scratch-off product increasing the efficiency of printing scratch-off products.

Document provided with a device for securing confidential information mentioned in the document and method for implementing such a device
09707796 · 2017-07-18 ·

The invention relates to a document (1) which is provided with a device for securing confidential information mentioned in the document, the latter comprising: a window (8) cut into said document, at least two areas of structural weakness (11, 12) located adjacent to two edges (81, 83) of the window (8), an information support element formed by at least a first label (16) secured to one face (18) of the document (1) such that the confidential information printed on said label (16) is located in the window (8), an element (3) for masking the information, with dimensions at least equal to those of the window (8), permanently secured to the areas of structural weakness (11, 12) and removably mounted at the window (8). A second label (19), suitable for protecting the first label (16) and for allowing the confidential information to be read when the masking element (3) is lifted, is arranged in the window (8) of the document (1), from the face (20) of the document (1) opposite the face (18) which is provided with the first label (16), the dimensions of said second label (19) being smaller than those of the window (8). The masking element (3) is also located on the face (20) of the document and furthermore has dimensions that enable the element to be permanently secured, by all the sides thereof, to the document adjacent to all the edges of the window (8), including those which lack structural weakness zones (11, 12). The invention also related to a method for implementing such a document.

Covert label

A covert label. A substrate comprises a field of ink. Disposed within the field of ink, is ink that can be preferentially removed according to a preconfigured pattern. The preconfigured pattern comprises information associable with at least one object.

Method of Forming a Lottery Ticket with a Translucent Substrate

A lottery ticket is printed on a substrate sheet material having a front surface with lottery game indicia printed thereon and a removable covering material, typically scratch-off material, covering the lottery game indicia which is removable by a player to expose the game indicia for playing the game and other game information printed on the substrate sheet material where at least part of the substrate sheet material is formed of a translucent synthetic material to enable viewing through the part by the player.

SCRATCH OFF LABEL FOR CARD
20170120661 · 2017-05-04 ·

A stored value card is shown. In one example a scratch off coating is disposed over a code on a stored value card. A color of the scratch off coating substantially matches a printed colored block located adjacent to the code. In one example, the scratch off coating and the printed colored block include colors other than grey. Assorted scratch off coating and printed color block colors may be used within a given number of cards.
