There is provided a sheet-like article with a string enabling use in two use forms (a first use form and a second use form). A sheet-like article 1 with a string has a first use form and a second use form. The sheet-like article 1 with a string includes a sheet-like main body 2, and a string body 4 inserted into holes 3 of the main body 2. In the sheet-like article 1 with a string, change from the first use form to the second use form is possible by pulling of the string body 4.

A thin film video device is mounted onto a card stock and incorporated into a card, such as a greeting card. The thin film video device comprises a thin film video display coupled to a computer chip and a speaker. The thin film video device is powered by a local power source such as a small battery. The thin film video device is activated when the user unfolds the card, at which time an audiovisual message is displayed on the thin film video display and through the speaker.

An expandable door hanger with an upper hanging portion with a slit leading to a void for hanging on a door knob or handle and with a lower portion comprising two or three panels, one of which is contiguous with the upper section, where the other lower panel or panels are foldable over or around the lower panel contiguous with the upper portion to form an expandable door hanger.

A system for a greeting card. The greeting card has a planar greeting card portion and a greeting card cover moveably coupled to the planar greeting card portion. Some embodiments provide a greeting card or a postcard with a practical joke feature. The practical joke feature can include a sound that is repeatedly played for several hours, days, weeks, etc. The card can include a mode of operation configured to allow a purchaser to experience the sound without arming the practical joke feature. The card can include a pouch that contains one or more surprises for card recipients that attempt to open or destroy the card. The card can include one or more features that resist destruction of the card and/or internal components of the card that implement the practical joke feature.

A combination greeting card and sculpture deliverable as a single unit in a package with a greeting card inserted into the package. A holder attached to the greeting card, the package or both the greeting card and the package with one or more than one piece of art personalized to the recipient that is attachable and detachable from the greeting card. And, optionally, one or more than one art stand attachable and detachable from the greeting card for supporting the one or more than one piece of art.

A foldable article having a sliceform removably secured to one or more panels of the foldable article. A tab having a retaining portion may extend from at least one of the one or more panels of the foldable article. The tab may pass through an opening in the sliceform and the retaining portion may be wider than the width of the opening. The retaining member may be manipulated to pass through the opening to removably secure the sliceform to, and/or detach the sliceform from, the foldable article.

The present invention relates to a multi-purpose pairable puzzle system with hanging 3-dimensional puzzle element 100. In the preferred embodiment 100, the system includes a three-dimensional wooden board 146 with a shape or a plurality of shapes 144 cut through and then separated, thus forming a hole through the board 128 having a defined shape 148 through which the complementary three-dimensional shape 102 that was cut out and separated can be fitted to form a completed puzzle. The removable complementary three-dimensional shape 102 will have a small opening 124a, at the top surface through which a ribbon 124 is inserted for the purpose of hanging the removable three-dimensional shape 102. In another embodiment, the entire rear surface 108 of the wooden board 146 will have a paper element 220 fitted. The paper element will have slit lines 216 shaped as the removable wooden three-dimensional element 102 with small attachment points 208 to retain the shape created 212 with the rest of the paper until punched out by the user. When punched out the paper retain the same shape as the removable three-dimensional wooden puzzle element 102.

The technology disclosed herein relates to a card having a liquid absorptive sponge cloth forming a first panel and a second panel. A fold line is defined between the first panel and the second panel. A printed communication is on a first surface of the first panel. The sponge cloth is semi-rigid when substantially dry and is non-rigid upon saturation with liquid water. The sponge cloth has a maximum tensile strength of at least 2.66 lbs./in when wet.
