The technology disclosed herein relates to a card having a liquid absorptive sponge cloth forming a first panel and a second panel. A fold line is defined between the first panel and the second panel. A printed communication is on a first surface of the first panel. The sponge cloth is semi-rigid when substantially dry and is non-rigid upon saturation with liquid water. The sponge cloth has a maximum tensile strength of at least 2.66 lbs./in when wet.

A greeting card having mechanically actuated moving portions is provided. The greeting card may include a panel having one or more folds, one or more flexible drive shafts coupled to the panel and having a flipping or moving portion, and a decorative portion coupled to at least one of the panel and the flipping or moving portion. Each flexible drive shaft may be coupled to the panel such that a portion is positioned on a first side of the fold and a portion is positioned on a second side of the fold. When the greeting card is opened, a moment arm is created in the flexible drive shaft which causes the flipping or moving portion to move from a first position to a second position. The decorative portion may move in response to the flipping or moving portion moving from the first position to the second position.

The following invention represents a postcard, comprising a laminar body adapted to be decorated externally with at least one predefined illustration. Said body has an opening for access to an internal recess, said opening is normally closed by a removable cover. The recess accommodates at least one seed and a substrate, and that at least one seed is arranged on the top of the substrate and directed toward said opening, for the sprouting of a plant after the removal of the cover and the addition of water into the recess. The seed is normally being retained on the top of said substrate by a laminar containment element, which is made of water-soluble material and is interposed between the substrate and the cover.

A visual image display board according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a horizontal base and a display board. The display board includes a front surface, a back surface, a left side, a right side, an upper side and a bottom side. The bottom side of the display board is coupled to the horizontal base. An adhesive layer is disposed between the bottom side of the display board and the horizontal base. The adhesive layer couples the display board to the horizontal base. One or more photographs are conformally disposed on the front surface of the display board. A shape of the one or more photographs substantially corresponds with a shape of the display board.

A combined gift card holder and bottle carrier topper includes a main panel having two oblong elements separated by an elongate channel and a gift card sleeve attached to the main panel. An appreciation card including a front panel having a window formed therein that is located between the left side and the right side of the front panel and being defined by a window border. A gift card panel is disposed on the back face of the front panel below the window border. An improved paper-based, multi-card package comprises a paper-based carrier and a plurality of cards each being paper-based and having machine-readable indicia indicative of a corresponding account. The cards may be provided as prepaid cards. The carrier may include a center panel, wherein the cards are positioned adjacent to a first side of the center panel. The carrier may further comprise a side flap adjoined to and folded over the center panel to define a seamless edge, and a side panel adjoined to the center panel and folded over and securely connected to portions of the first side of the center panel and the folded side flap to define another seamless edge, wherein the cards are disposed in a secure, enclosed space within the carrier.

A gift card carrier for use with a greeting card and a greeting card for carrying a gift card is provided. The gift card carrier and the greeting card comprise a base panel comprising a front surface and a back surface, where the front surface has a holding area that is sized and dimensioned to receive the entire gift card therein. They also include a retaining member secured to the front surface for releasably securing the gift card in the holding area, and a metal shield secured to the front surface or the back surface of the base panel, where the metal shield sized to cover, and positioned to correspond with, the holding area.

Systems and methods are provided that include presenting a user interface that enables customization of a greeting card, receiving personalization information useable to personalize the greeting card, generating an image file based on the personalization information, storing the personalization information, storing the image file, storing metadata associated with the image file (the metadata can be useable to discern characteristics of the image file), associating a link with the customized digital greeting card, receiving an indication that the link has been referenced, retrieving the image file and the personalization information, utilizing the image file and the personalization information to generate one or more textures, applying the one or more textures to a 3D model of a greeting card, and generating a digital animated version of a greeting card from the 3D model, wherein the animated version presents a representation of the image file and that is consistent with the personalization information.
