MEDIUM CONTAINING IDENTIFIER
The objective of the present invention is to effectively prevent fraud, theft, and the like occurring with respect to a medium manufactured from a source material. This medium is a medium that is cut into a prescribed shape from a source material on which an identifier capable of specifying a location and capable of being read by a reading device is attached at a corresponding location. The prescribed location on the medium is specified as an authentication location enabling recognition of the medium, and at least a portion of the identifier capable of specifying the prescribed location is set as an identifier of the medium.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VERIFYING AUTHENTICITY OF A DOCUMENT
A system and a method for verifying authenticity of a physical copy and a digital copy of a document are disclosed. The method comprises registering a document in a repository by storing details related to the document in a location of the repository. A symbology for the document is generated. The symbology is an identifier of the location of the repository comprising the document. The symbology is associated with either a physical or a digital copy of the document. The digital copy of the document is printed to generate a printed copy. The printed copy or the physical copy of the document is scanned to generate a scanned image. The document and the details related to the document present at the location of the repository are accessed. The scanned image is compared with the document stored in the repository to determine the authenticity of either the physical copy or the digital copy of the document.
PHARMACEUTICAL PACKS COMPRISING HOLOGRAPHIC LIDDING MATERIAL, AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A pharmaceutical pack and the method for making the same are provided. The pharmaceutical pack includes a blister layer and a lidding sheet disposed over the blister layer. The blister layer defines at least one opening. The lidding sheet includes a first layer and optionally a second layer. The first layer includes at least one hologram, and is disposed on the second layer, which is a plastic film. The blister layer and the lidding sheet define at least one cavity so as to hold at least one pharmaceutical dosage form therein.

OPTICAL SWITCH DEVICES
An optical device includes an array of lenses and a plurality of first and second segments disposed under the array of lenses. At a first viewing angle, the array of lenses presents a first image for viewing without presenting the second image for viewing, and at a second viewing angle different from the first viewing angle, the array of lenses presents for viewing the second image without presenting the first image for viewing. In some examples, individual ones of the first and second segments can comprise specular reflecting, transparent, diffusely reflecting, and/or diffusely transmissive features. In some examples, individual ones of the first and second segments can comprise transparent and non-transparent regions. Some examples can incorporate more than one region producing an optical effect.
METHOD FOR CREATING A HIDDEN PATTERN
The present invention relates to a method for creating a hidden pattern on a substrate, wherein a liquid treatment composition comprising at least one acid is deposited by inkjet printing onto a substrate, which comprises at least one external surface comprising a salifiable alkaline or alkaline earth compound.
ITEM LABEL WITH A TAG
A label has a portion that is readable by a human being and a portion that is readable by a machine. The label includes information stored using a spectral content of reflected from a tag. The label is used for authentication.
