HYBRID BANKNOTE WITH ELECTRONIC INDICIA
A hybrid currency banknote includes a banknote having visible markings. One or more light-controlling elements and a controller are embedded in or on the banknote. The controller is electrically connected to the one or more light-controlling elements to control the one or more light-controlling elements. A power input connection is electrically connected to the controller, or one or more light-controlling elements, or both. A power source can be connected to the power input connection, for example a piezoelectric or photovoltaic power source. In response to applied power, the controller causes the one or more light-controlling elements to emit light. A value can be stored in a memory in the controller and displayed by the light-controlling elements. The value can be assigned or varied by a hybrid currency teller machine.
LABELLING SCHEME AND APPARATUS
A method and system for writing a label (defined within a predetermined region of the sample 110), the label displaying a visible layout of light-modified regions in a predetermined spatial arrangement. The method comprises: modifying regions of a material within the label using light, wherein the modifying comprises using light of a first polarisation state to provide photo-induced optically active regions of a first type having a first optical activity state which is characteristic of having been formed by light of the first polarisation state, in order to encode covert information in the label using the locations of the first type of light-modified regions within the spatial arrangement of the label.

RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION FLAT SHEET MATERIAL
The invention relates to the field of radio-frequency identification, in particular, to materials containing radio-frequency tags in their layers and intended for printing and stamping by commonly available printing methods. The technical result of the invention is to obtain the flexible flat sheet material in which the chips and other electronic components do not affect the level of the sheet material surface flatness. The flat sheet material with radio frequency identification contains the sequentially arranged first layer of flexible material, the first intermediate layer, the substrate layer with an antenna and a chip, the second intermediate layer, the second layer of flexible material, and the first intermediate layer made of the polymer composite.
Electronic document with two antennas
In various embodiments, a circuit arrangement is provided, including a first antenna tuned to a first frequency range, a second antenna tuned to a second frequency range being different from the first frequency range, a controller coupled to the first antenna and the second antenna, wherein the controller is configured to receive its operational power via at least one of the first antenna and the second antenna, and a deactivating structure configured to deactivate the communication of the controller via the second antenna upon reception of electromagnetic waves with the first frequency range via the first antenna.

IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS WITH RADIATION CURABLE MATERIAL AND RELATED METHODS
Systems and methods wherein one or more processing operations on an identification document occur after a radiation curable material is applied to a surface of the identification document but before the radiation curable material is fully cured. The one or more processing operations can occur before any curing of the radiation curable material takes place. Alternatively, the one or more processing operations can occur after the radiation curable material has been partially cured, and before the radiation curable material is fully or completely cured.

UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION FROM MARKED FEATURES
A system for verifying the authenticity of a printed mark includes an image acquisition device that acquires an image of a printed mark. In one implementation, the printed mark includes an identifier that identifies the group or class of an item to which the printed mark is to be (or has been) attached. The system may also include one or more processors that carry out actions such as receiving the image from the image acquisition device; analyzing the image to identify artifacts in the printed mark, retrieving a genuine mark signature from a data storage containing genuine mark signatures, comparing the identified artifacts with the genuine mark signature, and determining whether the unverified item is authentic based on the comparison.
Method of authenticating and/or identifying a security article
A method of authenticating and/or identifying a security article including a first image includes superimposing at least partially the first image of the article with a second image. The second image may be produced by an electronic imager. The method further includes performing a relative movement between the first and second images so as to make it possible to observe an item of information relating to authentication and/or identification of the security article during the relative movement between the first and second images.
