SIP modulating agents
Compounds of formula (I) or (II) can modulate the activity of S1P receptors.
5-HT3 receptor antagonists
The present invention provides 5-HT3 receptor antagonists of Formula (I): ##STR00001##
which are useful for the treatment of diseases treatable by inhibition of 5-HT3 receptor such as emesis, pain, drug addiction, neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders, and GI disorders. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds and processes for preparing such compounds.
Methods and compositions for treating abnormal cell growth
The present invention relates to, inter alia, combinations, methods, compositions, and oral dosage forms of a FAK inhibitor and a MEK inhibitor, for treating abnormal cell growth (e.g., cancer).
PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a plurality of substantially spherical microspheres comprising at least one API substantially dispersed in at least one polymer and a lyoprotectant on an outside surface of the plurality of substantially spherical microspheres, wherein the plurality of substantially spherical microspheres have a D99[num] particle diameter of less than about 10 m; a D90[num] circularity value of from about 0.8 to about 1.0; and comprise API in a weight of about 20 to about 40 wt. % of the polymer. Other embodiments relate to injectable compositions comprising such microspheres and methods of treating a number of conditions by administering such injectable compositions to a subject.
Compositions and methods for inhibiting expression of the ALAS1 gene
The invention relates to double-stranded ribonucleic acid (dsRNA) compositions targeting the ALAS1 gene, and methods of using such dsRNA compositions to alter (e.g., inhibit) expression of ALAS1.
Cell-permeable peptide system for treating diseases caused by glutamate excitotoxicity
Peptide system including at least one peptide blocking the presynaptic release of glutamate. The peptide has the sequence SEQ ID NO 5: GRKKRRQRRRPPIEQSIEQEEGLNRS and/or sequence SEQ ID NO 8: GRKKRRQRRRPPMSEYNATQSDYRER for use in treating pathologies associated with glutamate excitotoxicity.
Flavivirus neutralizing antibodies and methods of use thereof
The present invention provides antibodies that neutralize flavivirus and methods of use thereof. These antibodies are derived from mAb11 which recognizes West Nile virus E protein and is cross-reactive with members of the flavivirus family, including Denge virus. The antibodies of the present invention prevent antibody-dependent enhancement of a viral infection by having a modified Fc region that does not bind to the Fc? receptor. The invented antibody is used to treat flaviviral infections and symptoms thereof.
PHARMACEUTICAL RESINATE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THEREOF
Disclosed herein are pharmaceutical compositions having a mixture of at least one active agent and an ion exchange resin, such that the composition releases about 75% or more of the at least one active agent within about 1 hour as measured by in-vitro dissolution in a USP Apparatus 2 (paddle) at about 50 rpm in about 900 ml 0.1N HCl at about 37 C. and related methods. Also disclosed herein are pharmaceutical compositions having a mixture of a drug susceptible to abuse, a non-opioid analgesic and an ion exchange resin, the composition further including at least one gelling agent and related methods.
