A writing instrument may include an upper barrel rotatably connected to a lower barrel. Writing fluid reservoirs may be housed in the upper barrel. A writing tip secured to the lower barrel may be in selective fluid communication with the writing fluid reservoirs. The upper barrel may be rotatable relative to the lower barrel of the writing instrument.

A retractable liquid dispenser device comprising an outer body having a retractable mechanism slidably supporting a liquid dispenser. The liquid dispenser has a supply reservoir and a discharge reservoir with a reservoir valve disposed therebetween. A retractable valve is located in proximity to an open first end of the outer body. A first depression of the retractable actuator opens the retractable valve and moves the liquid dispenser into the extended position for enabling a depression of a distal end of the liquid applicator to open the dispensing valve to permit liquid to flow from the supply reservoir into the dispensing reservoir to dispense the applicator liquid from the distal end of the liquid applicator. Provided is an aqueous ink composition for a writing instrument which is excellent in a drying property of drawn lines and a low temperature stability of the ink while inhibiting the pen tip from drying and which prevents the drawn lines from causing feathering and strike-through. The aqueous ink composition for a writing instrument described above contains at least a colorant, trimethylglycine, pentaerythritol, 10% by mass or less of a water-soluble organic solvent and water.

The invention provides a system for refilling of used markers. The system comprises at least one round plate (1) mounted on a supporting platform, at least one ink reservoir (2) adapted to store ink and positioned at the center of the round plate (1) and one entry hole (3) on the ink reservoir (2) adapted to hold a nib of a marker (6). The round plate (1) of the system is mounted on a motor adapted to rotate the round plate (1) at high speed in a circular motion to dispense ink from the ink reservoir (2) by centrifugal force via the entry hole (3) to refill the marker (6) through the nib.
