Disclosed is a reversibly thermochromic aqueous ink composition comprising a reversibly thermochromic microcapsule pigment encapsulating a reversibly thermochromic composition comprising (a) an electron-donating color-developing organic compound, (b) an electron-accepting compound, and (c) a reaction medium to determine an occurrence temperature of a coloring reaction of the component (a) and the component (b), and a vehicle comprising water and a specific gravity adjuster selected from the group consisting of an oxyacid belonging to Group 6 having an atomic weight of 90 to 185 or salt thereof.
WRITING IMPLEMENT
Provided is a writing implement having a pen tip that can achieve excellent ink outflow performance and an increase in the effective area of a viewer portion allowing recognition of the writing direction, relative to the whole pen tip. The writing implement is a writing implement A which includes a pen tip 20 feeding ink from a writing implement body 10 and having a viewer portion through which the writing direction can be recognized, and is characterized in that the pen tip 20 is configured of, a least, a writing part 30 and a holding body 40 having a viewer portion 43, and the holding portion 40 has a sheet-shaped ink feeder 25 formed with slits or bumps on the surface and inside thereof to produce a capillary action.
Retractable Marker Assembly
A retractable marker assembly includes a tube that has a tapered end such that the tube has a conical shape. An ink cartridge is insertable into the tube and the ink cartridge contains a fluid ink. The ink cartridge is slidable between an extended position or a retracted position. An applicator is fluidly coupled to the ink cartridge to absorb the fluid ink contained in the ink cartridge for marking a surface. A cap is removably attached to the tube and a button slidably extends through the cap. The button engages the ink cartridge and the ink cartridge is positioned in the extended position exposed when the button is depressed having the applicator being exposed. The ink cartridge is positioned in the retracted position when the button is not depressed having the applicator being withdrawn into the tube.
Liquid applicator
A liquid applicator is described. The liquid applicator includes an applicating head, a buffer in communication with the outside air, a gas-liquid exchanger, and a reservoir supplying a liquid to the gas-liquid exchanger. The gas-liquid exchanger has a wick, a liquid sealing tube covering on the outer peripheral wall of the wick, and a gas-liquid channel disposed between the wick and the liquid sealing tube; the buffer covers on the outer peripheral wall of the liquid sealing tube, and capillary pressure of the liquid sealing tube is greater than capillary pressure of the buffer by 30% or more. The liquid applicator can effectively control the release of a liquid. It can prevent the liquid from leaking out. It features a simple structure, resulting in smooth application and easy manufacturing.
Applicator
An applicator includes a body, an application member, a storage for a liquid applying material, a liquid applying material absorbing body configured to adjust an amount of impregnation, and a first plug configured to cause a rear end side of the application member to be inserted through an insertion hole to hold the application member. The first plug is configured to expose the rear end side of the application member to a side of the storage. A storage region is configured to be increased and decreased by changing a position of a second plug. The absorbing body is mounted to a distal end and is cuttable.
REVERSIBLY THERMOCHROMIC AQUEOUS INK COMPOSITION AND WRITING INSTRUMENT USING THE SAME
To provide a reversibly thermochromic aqueous ink composition excellent in dispersion stability of a reversibly thermochromic microcapsule pigment and a writing instrument using the same.
BEARING ASSEMBLY
A bearing assembly includes at least one inner ring and at least one outer ring, and at least one surface of the inner or outer ring is partially colored with an acid-free ink. If the at least one surface includes a surface defect such as a scratch in a black-oxide coating, the acid-free ink may be applied to the scratch to at least partially conceal it.
