The invention also relates to a pencil with such a graphite lead and to a method for producing a graphite lead or graphite chalk or a graphite block.

ERASABLE WRITING COMPOSITIONS
A thermoplastic writing composition includes at least one particulate filler including one or more of days, silicates, or carbonates, at least one thermoplastic binder material including one or more of high density polyethylene, polypropylene, and styrene, one or more waxes chosen from soy wax, paraffin wax, and beeswax, at least one colorant, and optionally, at least one surfactant.
CORE OR CRAYON FOR WRITING AND/OR COLORING
A core or crayon for writing and/or coloring has 15 wt % to 30 wt % of a core base material based on fat and on wax, and 40 wt % to 80 wt % of at least one filler, and 0.1 wt % to 30 wt % of at least one colorant. The core base material includes, based on the total mass of the core, 0.5 wt % to 10 wt % of aluminum distearate, 5 wt % to 20 wt % of oxidized polyethylene wax, and 5 wt %-22 wt % of at least one paraffin wax.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING POWDER LEADS AND PRODUCTS PRODUCED THEREWITH
A method for producing a powder lead is disclosed, wherein at least one colourant, at least one filler and at least one binder are mixed with a carrier liquid, leads are shaped from the wet compound, the leads shaped in step b) are guided through a chamber in which they are exposed to a pulverulent covering agent, and the powdered leads are guided into a drying apparatus and dried therein.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING POWDER LEADS AND PRODUCTS PRODUCED THEREWITH
A method for producing a powder lead is disclosed, wherein at least one colourant, at least one filler and at least one binder are mixed with a carrier liquid, leads are shaped from the wet compound, the leads shaped in step b) are guided through a chamber in which they are exposed to a pulverulent covering agent, and the powdered leads are guided into a drying apparatus and dried therein.
LEAD FOR PENCIL FOR WRITING, DRAWING, MARKING, PLOTTING AND/OR COLORING
There is a polymer-based extrudable non-calcined pencil lead having a lamellar mineral filler having a lamellarity index greater than 2.8, advantageously greater than 3.5, in particular greater than 4. There is also a pencil having such a lead and the use of a lamellar mineral filler having a lamellarity index greater than 2.8 to improve the flexural resistance and/or the smoothness, and/or the vividness of a polymer-based extrudable non-calcined pencil lead.

Writing compositions capable of undergoing a color development when brought into contact with a specific substrate including a color change-inducing compound are provided. Application of the writing compositions to surfaces other than the intended substrate will avoid color development and prevent staining of the unintended surfaces. The writing compositions include at least one particulate filler including a clay, at least one leuco dye, one or more waxes chosen from a group consisting of polyethylene wax, soy wax, paraffin wax, and beeswax, at least one thermoplastic binder material including a polyethylene, titanium dioxide, and optionally at least one additive.

A colored lead for writing, drawing and coloring implements, more particularly erasable, sintered colored lead, or to a colored chalk, more particularly erasable, sintered colored chalk, having a sintered lead or chalk base body which is formed from a lead or chalk base material containing at least one binder with a proportion of from 1 to 25% by weight and at least one filler with a proportion of from 25 to 99% by weight. The sintered lead or chalk base body is impregnated with at least one colorant and at least one lubricant.
