Embossing Die, Embossing Apparatus And Embossing Method
An embossing die is provided to an embossing apparatus. The embossing die is heated by a heating unit which is provided to the embossing apparatus. The embossing die includes a convex shaped mold portion. The mold portion corresponds to one concave portion formed on a front face of a base material. The mold portion is an aggregate of a plurality of protrusions which are divided by a slit. The slit is provided to an outer surface of the mold portion which contacts the front face of the base material. In the slit, a cutting direction corresponds to a height direction of the mold portion. The plurality of protrusions are adjacent to each other through the slit.
Multi-function heat foil embossing machine
A multi-purpose heat foil embossing machine and a heat foil adapter are disclosed herein. According to an embodiment, the heat foil adapter includes an injection molded body, a metal heat plate configured in the cavity of the molded body, a heating element, a temperature control system configured to maintain metal heat plate temperature, and a polycarbonate lid. According to another embodiment, the multi-purpose heat foil embossing machine is of platform and roller type construction wherein platform provides a flatbed working area and roller is moved over it that eliminates need to sandwich folder between plastic mats and push the mat between the rollers. According to another embodiment, the heat plate adapter is configured within a cavity on the platform of the embossing machine with electric connectivity.
Foil transfer method
A foil transfer method of performing foil transfer onto a surface of a transfer subject includes preparing a foil transfer tool including a light output portion, preparing the transfer subject and a transfer foil, stacking the transfer foil and a light absorbing film with optical absorptivity on a surface, of the transfer subject, on which the foil transfer is to be performed, to produce a stack body, and while moving either one of the stack body and the foil transfer tool with respect to the other, putting the foil transfer tool into contact with a surface of the stack body at which the light absorbing film is provided and outputting light from the light output portion.
Method and Device for Transferring a Decorating Segment of an Embossing Film
A method for transferring a decorative section of a stamping foil onto a substrate by means of an embossing die, wherein the stamping foil includes a carrier film and a transfer ply arranged on the carrier film. The method includes:
a) Provision of the stamping foil;
b) Embossing or pressing of at least one compression section spaced apart from the edge of the decorative section, into the transfer ply;
c) Stamping of the decorative section onto the substrate;
d) Detachment of the residual stamping film from the substrate embossed with the decorative section.
PROCESS FOR SURFACE DECORATION
A process for modifying a plastic surface includes mounting a die into a heating printing machine, heating the die, and bringing the die in contact with the plastic surface of the product part to modify the surface.
Nonwoven Fabric Sheet And Method For Making The Same
The invention relates to a patterned spunbonded nonwoven fabric sheet comprising a plurality of spunbonded crimped fibers bonded together at a plurality of bonding points, wherein all fibers of the patterned spunbonded nonwoven fabric sheet are spunbonded crimped fibers and wherein the configuration of the fibers within the sheet is inhomogeneous and varies according to a preferably regular pattern. The invention further relates to a method for forming such patterned spunbonded nonwoven fabric sheet from a flat spunbonded nonwoven fabric sheet starting material. Still further, the invention relates to such flat spunbonded nonwoven fabric sheet starting material.
VISUAL SECURITY FEATURE
According to one example, there is provided a visual security feature. The visual security feature comprises a security feature printed on a media. The security feature includes a security code printed on the media, and a holographic image is embossed on the printed security feature.
METHOD FOR ATTACHING AN ADHESIVE LABEL TO A PLASTIC OBJECT
A method is described herein for attaching an adhesive label to a plastic object such that upon removal of the adhesive label substantially no adhesive residue is left-behind on the plastic object. In an example, the method can include applying a textured pattern to a portion of a plastic object to provide a textured surface on the plastic object. The textured pattern can be applied post molding of the plastic object. The method can include attaching to the textured surface an adhesive label.
