ADHESIVE BACKED DECORATIVE ARTICLE, METHOD OF MAKING, AND METHOD OF USE
A decorative article comprising a main body portion that can be deformed based on the shape of an adhering surface, and can be fixed to the adhering surface via an adhesive layer, without substantially stretching during adhesion. The main body portion will not inelastically deform, even if an operator pulls on the main body portion, when adhering to the adhering surface. The main body portion is deformed based on the shape of the adhering surface. Therefore, when the operator deforms the main body portion based on the shape of the adhering surface and adheres the adhesive-backed decorative article to the adhering surface, it is not necessary to perform a position adjustment by pulling and stretching the main body portion. Furthermore, an adhesive-backed decorative article can be adhered to the adhering surface regardless of the shape of the adhering surface.
Kit and method for applying a decoration on a substrate such as human skin
In an aspect, a kit for applying a decoration to human skin is provided, and includes a sticker backing sheet with a sticker thereon and a coating backing sheet having a coating thereon. The sticker has first and second faces and adhesives on both faces. A first adhesive force between the first adhesive and human skin is greater than a second adhesive force between the second adhesive and the sticker backing sheet, thereby permitting the sticker to adhere to the skin while peeling off the sticker backing sheet therefrom. The coating is adhered to the coating backing sheet. A third adhesive force between the coating and the sticker is greater than a fourth adhesive force between the coating and the coating backing sheet, so the coating adheres to the sticker while peeling off the coating backing sheet. The coating does not adhere to skin.
Partially perforated assembly
A partially perforated assembly includes a perforated film layer, a perforated adhesive layer applied to one side of said film layer, a non-perforated overlaminate film layer on the other side of said perforated film layer, and a release liner on the side of said perforated adhesive layer remote from said perforated film layer. When the release liner is removed and the remaining layers of the assembly are applied to a substrate, the remaining layers of the assembly comprise a void network. The void network fluidly interconnects at least two discrete perforation holes in the perforated film and adhesive layers with each other and/or the ambient environment around the assembly so as to facilitate air communication among the holes and/or between the holes and the ambient environment.
PATTERN LAYER TO BE ADHERED TO LIVING BODY
In some embodiments, this disclosure provides a method for creating a design layer to adhere to a living body, said method comprising: drawing a design on a surface layer by placing a dye on the surface layer in advance; and placing an adhesive layer thereon; and adhering the dye so that it is sandwiched between the surface layer and the adhesive layer.
TEMPORARY TATTOO DECALS USABLE AS DOSIMETERS
A temporary tattoo decal including: (a) a porous paper base; (b) a water soluble slip layer or a release coating on at least a first surface of the paper base; (c) a photochromic ink layer atop the slip layer or the release coating; and (d) a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer atop the photochromic ink layer, wherein the photochromic ink layer includes at least one photochromic material that is capable of changing its color when exposed to UV radiation and a polymer matrix in which the at least one photochromic material is distributed; and wherein the polymer matrix substantially prevents the ink material from degrading when covered with a sunscreen product and inhibits the photochromic ink from washing off when the sunscreen product covering the photochromic ink layer is washed off.
METHOD FOR MAKING A LAYERED STRUCTURE EMBEDDING THREE-DIMENSIONAL ELEMENTS MADE OF CRYSTAL GLASS OR PRECIOUS STONES
A method for making a layered structure without any defects, including a first support layer, a second support layer, and an adhesive intermediate layer interposed between the first layer and the second layer which is adapted to fix the layers on each other. The intermediate layer embeds operatively at least a three-dimensional macroscopic element being made of crystal glass or precious stones, and the intermediate layer is made of a thermoplastic resin having a melting temperature.
METHOD OF TRANSFERRING FILM
A film transferring method according to an embodiment of the present invention of transferring a film adhered to a substrate to a roller in a state that a first adhesion force between the roller and the film and a second adhesion force between the film and the substrate are substantially the same includes: a transporting step of transporting the substrate and the film of which a first adhesion surface formed on one surface is adhered to the substrate in a first direction; a close contacting step of closely contacting the front end of the second adhesion surface formed on the other surface of the film that is transported with the roller rotating in the first rotation direction; and a transferring step of peeling the film from the substrate and simultaneously transferring it to the roller by peeling the front adhesion surface of the first adhesion surface from the substrate, while simultaneously transferring the front end of the second adhesion surface to the roller and continuously transporting the substrate in the first direction, wherein a first weak adhesion force that is smaller than the second adhesion force is formed between the front adhesion surface and the substrate.
Multi-Purpose Sticker
A multi-purpose sticker for decorating and sealing an envelope and also for attaching the sealed envelope to a package, such as a gift. The multi-purpose sticker generally includes a double-sided adhesive layer hidden below a decorative covering. With the decorative cover in place, one side of the double-sided adhesive of the sticker can be used to seal an envelope, and the sticker serves as a decorative sticker. If desired, the decorative cover can be peeled off to expose an adhesive in order to affix the sealed envelope to a package.
Decoration sheet having discontinuous lenticular lens
The present invention relates to a decoration sheet to be applied to an exterior material for electric home appliances or electronic devices. The decoration sheet includes a pattern layer having lenticular lenses arranged in multiple rows, wherein at least one of the multiple rows has one or more discontinuous lens sections in which the lenticular lens is not continuous, thereby reducing poor visibility and enhancing productivity; and the discontinuous lens sections can be arranged to implement a character, a pattern, or the like, thereby expressing a sense of pattern. Further, the decoration sheet has an adhesive layer formed on the other surface thereof and thus can function to prevent the scattering of a surface of glass or the like onto which the decoration sheet is attached.
Gel nail sticker and manufacturing method therefor
Provided is a gel nail sticker including: a lower laminated part which is a part directly attached to a nail or a toenail, and has a color or a pattern, and is formed of a flexible material to correspond to a curved surface of the nail or the toenail; and an upper laminated part which is a transparent coated layer positioned on the lower laminated part and providing glossiness to a color or a pattern of the lower laminated part, and is in a flexible semi-solid state to correspond to the curved surface of the nail or the toenail before being attached to the nail or the toenail, and is cured to a solid state while maintaining a form attached to the nail or the toenail when an ultraviolet ray is irradiated to the upper laminated part after the upper laminated part is attached to the nail or the toenail.
