PRINTED MATTER WITH DECORATIONS
To solve the problem of requiring a number of fabrication steps for making a printed matter formed with protrusions and depressions and having its protruding portions decorated with metal foil. A printed matter according to the present invention includes: a sheet or base paper; a printed layer printed on a surface of the sheet or base paper with ink containing releasing agent; a graphic formed on a surface of the printed layer with ink or resin that adheres to the printed layer; and a metal foil applied only on a surface of the graphic via adhesive having a property of not adhering to the printed layer but adhering to the graphic formed of ink or resin.
Decoration method of printed matter and printed matter
A decoration method of a printed matter includes: forming a printed layer on a surface of a sheet or of a mounting paper with a transparent varnish, printing a predetermined pattern on the surface of the printed layer by an ink or by a resin which are capable of being adhered to the printed layer; and pressing a metal foil onto the pattern printed by the ink or the resin with an adhesive agent. The adhesive agent does not adhere to the printed layer but adheres to the pattern. As a result, the metal foil 6 is printed only to the pattern.

TRANSFER FILM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A transfer film including a substrate, a protection layer, a metal coating layer, and an ink layer is provided. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface, and the first surface has a first stereoscopic pattern. The protection layer is disposed on the substrate, and has a third surface and a fourth surface. The third surface contacts the first surface, and has a second stereoscopic pattern complementing the first stereoscopic pattern. The fourth surface has a third stereoscopic pattern. The metal coating layer is disposed on the protection layer, and has a fifth surface contacting the fourth surface and a sixth surface. The ink layer is disposed on the metal coating layer. The protection layer and the substrate are separated after transfer to expose the second stereoscopic pattern and reflect out the third stereoscopic pattern. A manufacturing method of the transfer film is also provided.
ARTICLE HAVING A PATTERNED METAL FILM ON A SURFACE THEREOF, AND METHODS OF PRODUCTION THEREFOR
An article having a patterned metallic film on a surface thereof, and methods of producing such an article, the article including: (a) a porous substrate having a first porous surface; (b) a patterned metallic film attached to the first porous surface, including (i) a first patterned polymeric layer attached to the first porous surface; and (ii) a patterned metallic layer attached to the first patterned polymeric layer, on a distal side with respect to the first porous surface; wherein a thickness of the metal layer is at most 3 ?m.

Image forming device and image forming method
An image forming device comprises: a receiving part that receives image data containing first image data relating to a black and white image and second image data relating to a foil image; a carrying path along which a recording medium is carried in a predetermined direction; an inkjet printing part, arranged on the carrying path, injects an ink based on the first image data to the recording medium, and forms the black and white image or the color image on the recording medium; a toner image printing part, arranged on the carrying path, forms the toner image for adhesion based on the second image data, and transfers the toner image to the recording medium; and a foil image forming part, arranged on the carrying path, enables the toner image transferred to the recording medium to melt and attaches the foil to the melted toner image to form the foil image.
Information processing equipment and computer-readable recording medium for pressing multiple colors of metal leaf
According to one aspect of the present invention, when there is no leaf object striding over a boundary of two leaf rolls in a leaf image, a leaf image generating section performs processing for dividing first leaf image in first print data for leaves and a second leaf image of second print data for leaves at the boundary, replacing one of divided leaf images with one of other divided leaf images that hold the boundary between the first leaf image and the second leaf image to generate a first combined-leaves image and a second combined-leaves image, and rotating the second combined-leaves image at a predetermined angle.
Decal For Producing A Decoration
The present invention relates to a decal for producing a decoration, comprising a non-leafing pigment layer and a first protective layer, characterized in that the decal is designed so that the non-leafing pigment layer can be applied closer to a substrate that the first protective layer. Furthermore, the present invention describes a method for producing the decal as well as its use.
Releasable polyester high gloss metal transfer film
A carrier film of thermoplastic polyester has releasable metal adhesive properties suitable for a metal transfer in which the polyester film is metalized and the metal layer is subsequently transferred to a permanent adhesive-coated substrate. The metal layer is in direct contact with the polyester carrier film and no intermediate release layer is present. Desired metal adhesion is provided by dispersing an suitable surfactant, and optionally, a hydrocarbon wax, uniformly into the polyester film. Surfactant on the outer surface of the carrier film modifies metal adhesion to the polyester such that the metal can be removed in a metal transfer operation.
