Randomized surface panel kit and surface panel system
The present disclosure relates generally to surface panels for covering a building surface. The disclosure relates more particularly to a surface panel kit and system including a set of panels for attaching to a support structure. Each of the panels includes opposing ends, and each end includes one of a group of end configurations. A first end configuration is mateable with a first portion of the group and is unmateable with a second portion of the group, and a second end configuration is mateable with a third portion of the group and is unmateable with a fourth portion of the group. The set of panels includes at least three panel types including a first panel type with the first and second end configurations, a second panel type with the first and without the second end configurations, and a third panel type with the second and without the first end configurations.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR CREATING GIRIH STRAPWORK PATTERNS
A kit that includes multiple rectilinear elongate polygonal elements having five unique shapes, four of which are concave polygonal elements. In some examples, when arranged with respect to one another, the elements of the kit form a girih strapwork pattern. In one aspect, respective elements in a kit may include bezels or boarders along longer sides to enhance an over/under weaving effect of the girih strapwork pattern. In other aspects, one or more elements may be formed as a tray, and some of the trays may include various components or materials disposed in the tray (e.g., architectural surface materials, biological systems, various electronic components) to provide for a variety of creative designs and structural/sculptural installations for built environments. In some implementations, one or more such trays may have beveled rims so as to appear light and thin when viewed.
Self adherent foam based mosaic tile
A mosaic tile member has a backing layer with a top adhesive surface for adhering at least two sets of individual tiles onto the backing layer in spaced relationship to permit grouting between the individual tiles. Each set of individual tiles has a foam base layer that is approximately 67 to 80 percent of the overall thickness of the mosaic tile. A design layer and a transparent protective wear layer cover the foam base layer. The design for one set of individual tiles can differ from the design for the other set of individual tiles. An adhesive is provided on the bottom of the backing layer to enable the mosaic tile to self-adhere to a wall, ceiling and floor surface. Individual tiles in the mosaic tile can be punched out or cut from a blank laminate of the foam base layer, the design layer and the protective wear layer.
Set of floor panels and method for composing thereof
A set of floor panels is intended for installing a floor in a room. The set comprises a plurality of first floor panels having a common shape and dimension, and one or more second floor panels showing an adaptation of the common shape and/or the common dimension. The adaptation is performed corresponding to the aforementioned room. A method for composing such set of floor panels.
CONCRETE-MOSAIC
A method of forming an aesthetic surface on a concrete structure. The aesthetic surface includes a mosaic design including a plurality of aesthetic elements, such as tiles, aggregate or the like, which are embedded within the hardened concrete structure. The aesthetic elements are affixed to the concrete form in the arrangement corresponding to the mosaic design prior to using the form during construction of the concrete structure. The concrete is poured into the form and allowed to harden, after which, the forms are stripped from the concrete, thereby exposing the embedded aesthetic elements within the concrete structure.
MOSAIC TILE
A mosaic tile, comprising a plurality of subunits (2a-2b) adhered to a backing material (3), wherein at least some of said subunits (2a-2b) comprise thermoplastic material, or, more particularly consist of heterogeneous PVC tile parts.
SYSTEM AND TWO DIMENSIONAL PRINTING METHOD IN A THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTING SUPPORT
The invention relates to a 2D printing method on a 3D printing support, consisting of forming a printing support comprised of a plurality of colored fibers that follow a printing pattern, which once joined and shaped into a block, can be transversally cut, thereby obtaining printed sheets according to said printing pattern. The invention further relates to the printing support, comprised of a block (1), wherein in one embodiment same is composed of a plurality of hollow tubes (2) having a cavity that can be filled with a coloring means and in another embodiment same is composed of solid tubes. After the coloring means hardens and the block (1) solidifies, the latter can be transversally cut parallel to the printing face (4) into a plurality of strips (5) that will depend on the required volume of advertising signs, posters or banners, among others.
