METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DECORATIVE PANEL
A method for producing a decorative panel, appearing and/or feeling like a machined metal, including taking a glass substrate, including at least one first surface; and one or more solid metal films, made of one or more metal(s) or metal alloy(s); generating a pulsed LASER beam; directing a metal deposition on at least the first surface, disposing the one or more metal film(s) facing the at least first surface, between the substrate and the LASER source, and applying the LASER beam on the one or more metal film(s) transferring the one or more metal(s) or metal alloy(s) onto the at least first surface, forming a coating including a metal layer covering all or part of the at least first surface, the metal layer including a top surface; and surfacing the metal coating top surface to alter the surface condition giving it the appearance and/or feel of a machined metal.
PLATE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present invention discloses a plate. The plate comprises a first material layer, a substrate, a coloring layer, and a second material layer. The coloring layer is formed on the first material layer via the substrate, and the second material layer is formed on the coloring layer. The above-mentioned layers are integrated into a one-piece structure.
Soft and hard panel attachment
A pliable panel and hard panel attachment method where a plurality of pliable panels, a thin metallic panel and a wood panel are joined together in a novel manner. The pliable panel can be textile, leather or flexible plastic. The pliable panels have one or more rows of laser cut apertures that allow a length of the sewing thread to sew the pliable panels together. The hard-thin metallic panel is capable of being sandwiched between the pliable panel and the wood panel. The pliable panel members have laser cut apertures that allow the thin metal panel to be seen through the apertures. The metal panel and the wood and pliable panel are held together by rivets. The sewing thread is inserted into the row of apertures in such a way that the resulting sewn pattern appears to be a continuous line of thread.
PANELS FOR TOUCH SCREENS
A panel for a touch screen of an electronic device is described. The panel comprises a substrate having a central area for operating the touch screen and a border area at an edge of the central area. The border area comprises a decorative image on the substrate and an outer surface coating overlying the decorative image. The decorative image comprises a non-conductive metallic coating. The outer surface coating comprises a non-conductive, printed layer. A method for manufacturing the panel and an electronic device comprising a touch screen having the panel are also described.
METHOD FOR MASS PRODUCTION OF CUSTOMIZED DECORATIVE ART
A method of producing customized artwork includes forming and finishing a plurality of backdrops by cutting and/or engraving sheet metal. Based upon an order received for a customized artwork a particular backdrop is selected and a customized ornamental component is produced in sheet metal. If the backdrop and customized component are prone to galvanic corrosion, insulation may be provided between the customized component and backdrop and to insulate fasteners from either the customized component or backdrop. The method reduces lead times and production costs for customized artwork, while improving quality of the final product.
Material Removal from Inner Surface to Preserve Perception of Outer Surface Aesthetics
A veneer for a wall-mounted keypad may include indicia that are laser cut therethrough and that are representative of functions that may be performed by the keypad. The veneer may include a recess that extends into an inner surface of the veneer, proximate to the indicia. The recess may be shaped such that a perceived aesthetic of an outer surface of the veneer is preserved during formation of the indicia. The recess may for example have an organic shape defined by a curved outer perimeter that does not define any corners.
Method of applying artwork to a 3D plate
The present disclosure is directed to articles configured as panels of artwork, methods of manufacturing the same, and methods of permanently transferring a coloring media to such articles. More particularly, the exemplary articles and methods for forming the same are configured to accept many types of coloring media on a surface thereof through use of a color-receptive layer.

EXTERIOR PANEL FOR HOME APPLIANCE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to an exterior panel for a home appliance and a method of manufacturing the same.
The exterior panel for a home appliance according to one aspect includes: a base layer made of a metal material, a deposition layer formed at a center except for an edge of an upper layer of the base layer and made of a metal material, and a coating layer formed on the deposition layer and an upper surface of the edge of the base layer, on which the deposition layer is not formed.
