STAINABLE SURFACE
The invention relates to a method for producing a color-changeable decorative surface. In order to provide a decorative surface that can be changed in a particularly simple manner in terms of its coloring by the end consumer and which is particularly cost-effective and resistant, it is provided that at least one layer of a coating agent, which enables the absorption of color particles, is applied.
STAINABLE DECORATIVE BOARD
The invention relates to a method for producing a synthetic resin surface or lacquered surface with a variable color, having the steps of providing a support layer with a lower face and an upper face, impregnating the support layer with a liquid impregnant without using a pickling additive and at least drying the impregnated support layer. The aim of the invention is to provide a decorative surface, the coloring of which by the end consumer can be modified in a particularly simple manner and which is particularly inexpensive and resistant. This is achieved in that a layer of coating agent is deposited on the upper face of the support layer and is dried, and the support layer is then connected to a material, wherein the layer is cured in order to form an open-pore layer which is at least as transparent as possible upon drying and/or connecting to the upper face.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PROFILED STRIP HAVING IMPROVED CONNECTING MEANS
The present invention relates to a method for producing a profiled strip (1) comprising: a first longitudinal side (2A), provided with first male connecting means and a second longitudinal side (2B) situated opposite the first longitudinal side (2A) and provided with first female connecting means, which profiled strip (1) is furthermore provided, on a first end side (3A), with second male connecting means and is provided, on a second end side (3B) situated opposite the first end side (3A), with second female connecting means, wherein said connecting means are suitable for connecting the longitudinal sides (2A, 2B) and/or the end sides (3A, 3B) of adjacent profiled strips (1, 1) to each other, wherein the method comprises the following steps: supplying a panel-shaped profiled section made of plastic; sawing the profiled section produced to the desired length; performing one or several milling operations in order to produce at least one foldable flexible projecting element (6a) on the first end side (3A) of the sawed profiled section; heating the produced projecting element (6A) and subsequently bending it at a desired angle in relation to the end side (3A) in order to form a bent locking element (6b).
Kit of decorative wall panels and enclosures made thereof
There is described a shower enclosure and kit of walls therefor. The kit of decorative wall panels comprise a first wall panel including a front face, the front face of the first wall panel defining a first decorative pattern and including a relief element, a second wall panel including a front face, the front face of the second wall panel defining a second decorative pattern, and a connecting assembly for connecting the first wall panel adjacent to the second wall panel. The first decorative pattern of the first wall panel and the second decorative pattern of the second wall panel are configured to counteract a visual distortion caused by the relief element of the first wall panel when the first wall panel is adjacent to the second wall panel.
LAMINATE WITH SYNCHRONOUS STRUCTURE
The present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a laminate, in particular a continuously pressed laminate, CPL, which can be used, for example, as a surface laminate in the manufacture of worktops or floor panels. The process includes the provision of a finish foil and a support structure, as well as the pressing of the finish foil with the support structure in a CPL process.
Additive Manufactured Multi-Colored Wall Panel
This invention is an additively manufactured wall panel using computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) to design and manufacture multi-colored and multi-layered wall panels. This results in a variety of highly attractive, multi-colored wall panel faces ranging from brick, colored grout lines and multi-colored stones to multi-colored geometric designs. The design and manufacturing process greatly reduces the amount of precast cementitious materials by efficiently using higher quality materials. This reduces cost and weight while simultaneously producing a much more comprehensive, multi-functional wall panel complete with an interior frame, exterior insulation and an air, vapor and moisture barriers.
Coupling assembly for coupling flat panels
An assembly for, for example, a photo collage featuring first (1) and second elements (3), with the first elements (1) containing a flat panel and the second elements forming coupling members (3) to interconnect the first elements. The first elements (1) feature as openings (2) near a corner of the flat panel at least two notches (9) in the edges and the coupling member features at least two complementary protrusions (5) that work together with the notches (9).
Interlocking sectioned art subsurface
An interlocked sectioned art subsurface may include a plurality of removably interlocking panels making up the subsurface; a channel extending into an outer perimeter of the subsurface; and a security band, such as a tension spring, positioned within the channel and encircling the perimeter of the subsurface, the security band sized and positioned to secure the panels together. The plurality of panels may include a pair of exterior panels and, optionally, at least one interior panel, wherein the panels removably engage with one another via a tongue and groove system.
MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR OBTAINING A DECORATIVE PANEL FOR SHOWER TRAYS
A manufacturing method for a decorative panel for shower trays formed by a polymeric panel (1) made of a solid-surface material, comprises coating the outer surfaces of the polymeric panel (1) with a decorative pattern (2) printed on said outer surfaces using an ink which is transferred to said panel (1) by sublimation in a vacuum chamber under predetermined temperature, pressure, and time conditions. The panel (1) has a perimetral area (3) having a greater thickness and at least one non-perimetral area (4) having a smaller thickness, wherein all the surfaces of the panel (1) coated with the decorative pattern have a uniform finish. A protective layer is placed on a non-perimetric zone (4) of the panel to prevent overheating during the panel curing process and to avoid imperfections on the decorative pattern from being formed on the non-perimetric zone (4)
Covering and Method for Producing Coverings
The current invention concerns coverings such as a floor covering, wall covering or ceiling covering, said covering comprising at least one substrate and at least one surface layer, said surface layer comprising a print pattern and a wear layer, whereby said print pattern is directly applied to said substrate, and further concerns a method to produce such coverings.
