A belt mounted paint and applicator holder apparatus adapted for stability and convenience comprising of a bucket portion, a top portion being nestable on the bucket portion upper open end, a pair of opposing toggle latches to cooperate with corresponding toggle latches on the bucket outer surface to form a clasped position wherein the bucket and top portion are nestled together, a buckle belt coupler having a pair of first vertical slots for insertion of a belt therethrough, and a quick-connect self-leveling coupling mechanism between the top and bucket portion, when in the clasped position, to maintain stability and self-leveling.

Provided is a container having a container body, a bail attached to the container body, and a flexible band attached to a rear of the container body. The flexible band has a first end attached to the rear of the container proximate a top of the rear and a second end attached to the rear of the container body proximate a bottom of the rear. The flexible band is movable between a first position spaced a first distance from the rear, a second position spaced a second distance from the rear less than the first distance to allow the container body and the bail to be grasped at the rear without interference by the flexible band, and a third position spaced a third distance from the rear greater than the first distance to provide space for a user's hand between the rear of the container body and the flexible band.

A manual paint system comprises a holster with cooperatively formed paint reservoir that fixates to the painter's person. The holster is in fluid communication via a valve with a reservoir that holds fresh clean paint. The holster receives a regulated flow of paint when the valve is open. The holster includes a fixator for securing the applicator so that the handle is available for easy grasp while the brush bristles or roller remain wet in paint within the holster. Scrapers within the holster remove excess paint from the applicator and are configured to return the excess paint to the holster for later use. The fixator may be attached to a gate that slideably opens and closes the valve, thereby allowing the painter to load the holster with paint by simply pulling out the applicator and shut off the flow by pushing the applicator back into the holster.

A method and apparatus are described for the improved application, transportation, and storage of surface coating materials including: paints, stains, cleaners, and preservatives; the present method employs a carrying and storage container in conjunction with a sealing lid; with the lid in place liquid coating materials and wet tools can be stored for extended periods of time between coating application jobs without the need to empty the container or wash out the tools; both magnetic means and selective enclosure are taught by the present invention for effective wet tool storage, whereby eliminating washing up saves time and coating products, as well as conserving wash up supplies.

A nested paint pail system is disclosed including an outer paint pail having one or more paint pail inserts included in the outer paint pail cavity. The outer paint pail includes a magnet for attracting and affixing a paint brush to the outer paint pail surface. Paint pail inserts include a paint pail insert magnet positioned adjacent to outer paint pail magnet when the paint pail insert is included in the outer paint pail. In this arrangement, paint pail insert magnet is attracted to outer paint pail magnet, thereby, removably securing the paint pail insert inside the outer paint pail cavity.
