PHOTOCURABLE COMPOSITION FOR TOPCOAT OF NAILS OR ARTIFICIAL NAILS
The object of the present invention is to provide a photocurable composition for a topcoat of nails or artificial nails having excellent glossiness and a colorless and transparent outer appearance.
The present invention is related to a photocurable composition for a topcoat of nails or artificial nails including the following components (A) to (C), including 40 to 70% by mass of trimethylol propane trimethacrylate relative to the total amount of the component (B), and satisfying that a cured product thereof with a thickness of 800 μm has transmittance of 10.0% or higher at a wavelength of 400 nm:
component (A); a (meth)acrylic oligomer;
component (B): a trifunctional (meth)acrylic monomer contained at 50 to 100 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the component (A); and
component (C): a photopolymerization initiator contained at 1 to 20 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the component (A).

UV-UVV CURABLE, WEAR-RESISTANT NAIL POLISH
A novel nail polish system is provided. The system includes a non UV-curable base/adhesion coat, a UV- (or UV LED-) curable, water-removable color coat, and a UV- (or UV LED-) curable, highly wear-resistant top coat. The nail color includes water soluble components, making it removable by an aqueous remover once the top coat is breached, allowing water contact. The top coat composition comprises high concentrations of inorganic nanoparticles, thus providing superior scratch protection.
UV-UVV CURABLE, WEAR-RESISTANT NAIL POLISH
A novel nail polish system is provided. The system includes a non UV-curable base/adhesion coat, a UV- (or UV LED-) curable, water-removable color coat, and a UV- (or UV LED-) curable, highly wear-resistant top coat. The nail color includes water soluble components, making it removable by an aqueous remover once the top coat is breached, allowing water contact. The top coat composition comprises high concentrations of inorganic nanoparticles, thus providing superior scratch protection.

Disclosed herein are cosmetic compositions comprising (a) at least one ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable compound and (b) at least one photoinitiator system comprising at least one photoinitiator having at least one absorption wavelength greater than about 350 nm. Also disclosed herein are methods of making up and/or enhancing the appearance of a keratinous substrate comprising (1) forming at least one film on the keratinous substrate by applying said cosmetic composition to the keratinous substrate and (2) exposing the film to UV-LED radiation.

Disclosed herein are cosmetic compositions comprising (a) at least one ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable compound and (b) at least one photoinitiator system comprising at least one photoinitiator having at least one absorption wavelength greater than about 350 nm. Also disclosed herein are methods of making up and/or enhancing the appearance of a keratinous substrate comprising (1) forming at least one film on the keratinous substrate by applying said cosmetic composition to the keratinous substrate and (2) exposing the film to UV-LED radiation.

A colored metallic pigment according to the present invention is a colored metallic pigment including at least a metallic pigment, an amorphous silicon oxide film layer formed on a surface of the metallic pigment, a metallic-particle-supporting layer formed on a surface of the amorphous silicon oxide film layer, and metallic particles formed on a surface of the metallic-particle-supporting layer, characterized in that the metallic-particle-supporting layer is formed of one or both of a metal layer and a metal oxide layer composed of a metal oxide other than silicon oxide, the metallic particles are formed to directly cover a part of the surface of the metallic-particle-supporting layer, and the amorphous silicon oxide film layer has a thickness of more than 500 nm.
