A smart brush holder device is disclosed. The smart brush holder device comprises a brush, an internal spring along one side, a sliding switch, a hook, and a spring for the hook.

A paintbrush guard a hollow body sized to fit over a felt of a paintbrush, a pair of opposing side shields and end shields extending from the body, the side shields having a plurality of interlocking tabs which can be used to lock the shields in an open bell shaped position or a closed position for cutting in a painted surface. The paintbrush guard may also be equipped with a downward facing hook extending from an end shield to hold the guard and paintbrush on the side of a paint container. Further the paintbrush guard maybe equipped with a comb on the side of the guard for use in cleaning a paintbrush.

A device for holding a paint roller may include a pair of parallel hook arms, a plurality of cross bars attached to and extending between the pair of parallel hook arms, a support bracket attached to and extending between first ends of each of the parallel hook arms, and a brace arm attached to and extending between second ends of each of the parallel hook arms. Each hook arm may have a first portion proximate to the first end, a second portion to the second end, and a middle portion extending between the first portion and the second portion, wherein the first portion, the middle portion, and the second portion form a continuous curved hook arm. The middle portion may extend substantially perpendicularly upward from the first portion; and the second portion may extend downward from the middle portion and may have a concave curve.

A universal paint brush holder for paint buckets has a paint brush handle bracket extending perpendicularly from a slide fit speed clip which is removably attachable to the rim of an open paint bucket. The device accommodates paint brushes and paint buckets of a wide variety of sizes. The pain brush handle bracket has two arms that extend from a base outward and define a nook in which a pain brush handle is retained. The slide fit speed clip is formed from a front guide extending down from the front of the base and a back panel extending downward from the back of the base. The paint brush holder has no moving parts and is therefore durable, long-lasting and inexpensive to manufacture.

An artists' brush storage and protection device includes a storage unit having a plurality of storage compartments, each of the storage compartments including a cover with a paint well below the cover, the paint well defined in part by upstanding walls, an exterior one of the upstanding walls defining a recess with a resilient sealing member disposed therein. Each of the covers may be opened permitting access to the paint well or closed against the upstanding walls of the paint well and the sealing member. The storage unit may further include drawer slides and a palette slidable on the drawer slides relative to the storage unit to reveal or conceal the palette. When bristles of a paint brush are placed in the paint well, its handle rests upon the resilient sealing member which compresses around the handle when the cover is closed to provide a substantially air-tight seal.

A paint palette system for holding and dispersing paint wherein a painter can pour paint into a low profile receptacle for later removal with a paintbrush or like tool is provided. A disposable and removable paint retaining fabric retains the paint in a drip-less and mess free fashion. The paint can be transported and stored in an improved manner allowing for a faster and more efficient painting effort.

A container for holding paintbrushes includes a bucket having an interior and a bottom, and a stand configured to be disposed in the interior. The stand includes a holder and a plurality of legs extending from the holder, with the legs configured to support the holder above the bottom of the bucket when the holder is disposed in the bucket with the legs positioned on said bottom of the bucket. The holder includes a plurality of hangers configured to removably receive paintbrushes thereon with the bucket configured to retain liquid into which the bristles of paintbrushes are submerged when retained on the hangers.

A storage compartment formed from two halves designed to fit a paint lid, the two halves being connected by a living hinge or other suitable connection type. The two halves can be sealed over the paint lid. An optional magnet holds the storage compartment and lid to the bottom of the paint can, ensuring the lid remains in proximity to the paint can. A second magnet may also hold the lid in place within the storage compartment. Molded clasps or other closure elements are used to close the lid over the storage compartment. A rotatable arm can be tilted up from the storage compartment to allow for carrying of the open paint can along with the lid keeper storage compartment.

An attachable and detachable holder for wet paint brushes which can be mounted on a top lip of a conventional paint can or paint bucket. An outwardly extending hook holds the holder to an inside of the paint can or paint bucket. The holder holds enough paint that covers paint brush hairs when the paint brush is placed in a holder area of the holder. Side port holes in the holder allow excess paint in the holder to flow back into the paint can or bucket.

A paint delivery tool or paint tray, suitable for use in a paint bucket, includes a paint roller grid mounted to a shelf that includes an auxiliary paint receptacle or cut bucket intended for separate use with a paint brush. The upper shelf includes a semicircular rim and lip for mounting the tool or paint tray to the top of a circular bucket. The paint roller grid extends from an opposite straight edge of the shelf and downward into the paint bucket. A paint roller and a paint brush can then be stored and used separately to reduce waste, messes and clean up. The paint roller grid and the shelf can be an integral one piece member, and they can be joined by a living hinge if molded as a plastic member.
