The brush holding body includes an inner portion separated from an outer portion. The inner portion includes a magnetic portion formed thereon. The magnetic portion is structured to hold a ferrule of a brush and maintain the paintbrush above or within the tray. The outer portion includes a magnetic portion formed thereon. The magnetic portion is structured to hold a ferrule of a brush and maintain the paintbrush above or within the trough. An attachment structure is attached to the brush holding body. The attachment structure grasps a wall of the paint tray. The brush holding body is positioned within a volume of the paint tray and the trough is positioned outboard of the volume of the paint tray.

The housing includes a pair of apertures defined in a back panel thereof that extend therethrough. Each aperture is disposed proximate an opposing side of the housing. A band is adapted to engage between belt loops on a pair of pants. A pair of selectively engageable loops is each configured to engage both a corresponding aperture defined in the back panel of the housing and the band to secure the paint bucket thereto such that the paint bucket remains upright as a painter navigates a ladder or a sloped terrain.

The open circle structure may have a top side and a bottom side. The top side may fully cover the rim of the open paint container. The bottom side may have a void configured to engage the rim of the open paint container via an annular snap-fit. The tray structure may extend from an edge of the open circle structure. The tray structure may extend at an incline and may have an upper surface with ridges such that excess paint removed from a paint roller in the tray may flow into the open paint container at the edge from which the tray structure extends.

The first portion and the first bend allow a user to press a paint applicator thereagainst to remove excess paint. The magnet assembly is configured to securely hold the paint applicator thereto via the paint applicator's metallic ferrule.

The paint tray includes feet that extend along the length of the paint tray, with the feet positioned adjacent the side walls of the paint bucket. The paint bucket includes first and second roll off surfaces while the paint tray includes one paint roll off surface.

A paint delivery tool or paint tray, suitable for use in a paint bucket, includes a paint roller grid mounted to a shelf that includes an auxiliary paint receptacle or cut bucket intended for separate use with a paint brush. The upper shelf includes a semicircular rim and lip for mounting the tool or paint tray to the top of a circular bucket. The paint roller grid extends from an opposite straight edge of the shelf and downward into the paint bucket. A paint roller and a paint brush can then be stored and used separately to reduce waste, messes and clean up. The paint roller grid and the shelf can be an integral one piece member, and they can be joined by a living hinge if molded as a plastic member.
