Paint Tray for Use with Rollers and Brushes

A paint delivery tool or paint tray, suitable for use in a paint bucket, includes a paint roller grid mounted to a shelf that includes an auxiliary paint receptacle or cut bucket intended for separate use with a paint brush. The upper shelf includes a semicircular rim and lip for mounting the tool or paint tray to the top of a circular bucket. The paint roller grid extends from an opposite straight edge of the shelf and downward into the paint bucket. A paint roller and a paint brush can then be stored and used separately to reduce waste, messes and clean up. The paint roller grid and the shelf can be an integral one piece member, and they can be joined by a living hinge if molded as a plastic member.

The accessory holder has a first clip portion adapted to be releasably clamped resiliently and frictionally onto the post of the carrier, and a second clip portion adapted to releasably clamp a painting extension pole therein resiliently and frictionally therein.

A paint tray liner bag can fully encapsulate a rigid paint tray and fully form to the shape of the rigid paint tray. The paint tray liner bag includes a bag flap that folds over to the bottom of the rigid paint tray and has holes to receive the legs of the rigid paint tray, thereby securing the paint tray liner bag on the rigid paint tray. Unlike rigid paint trays, that do not fit well into sinks and have ridges that can be difficult to clean, the paint tray liner bag can be removed from the rigid paint tray and easily cleaned due to its smooth surface and flexibility to fit into a user's sink.

A paint tray coupler system is disclosed. The system has one or more liner couplers coupled to a side of the paint tray for engaging a paint tray liner. The liner coupler is configured to provide a downward force, a side force, or both against the paint tray liner. The liner coupler may include a clasp lever, clamp, latch, or the like. The liner coupler may be coupled to the paint tray at an outer side surface. In some embodiments, the paint tray coupler system may include an additional liner coupler coupled to the outer side surface on an opposite side.

An improved paint container is disclosed. A paint container which may be a tray or an edger tray, is shown having two halves each being configured to hold and contain a liquid. The paint container may have a plurality of walls to form reservoirs therebetween, and a base. The two halves may be separated by an elevated member such as a ridge forming two reservoirs. The elevated member may have a rounded surface for permitting scraping of a pad or brush. In another embodiment, a can holder may include at least one opening that may be formed in a lower section of a base portion. The at least one opening may be as many as four holes and sized to accept fingers of a user. The plurality of holes may be configured and located below a thumb hole. The holes may be recessed permitting near simultaneous insertion of a thumb and fingers into the respective holes.

The body member includes an attachment structure attached to the body member, a first retaining member extending from the body member, and a second retaining member extending from the body member. The attachment structure grasping a wall of the paint tray, wherein the body member is positioned within a volume of the paint tray. The first retaining member positioned above the volume of the paint tray in a vertical direction. The second retaining member positioned above the trough in the vertical direction. The trough is releasably coupled to the body member and the trough is positioned outboard of the volume of the paint tray.
