LABOR-SAVING PAINT MIXING COVER
Labor-saving paint mixing cover comprises a paint outlet mechanism used to control outflow of a paint material, two or more pressing mechanisms pressing together a paint container and a cover. Each of the pressing mechanisms comprises: a through hole on the cover; a pressing rod passing through the through hole; a sealing sleeve sleeved over the pressing rod, and comprising a sealing sleeve folded edge pressing on the cover; a compression spring sleeved over the pressing rod between the sealing sleeve folded edge of the sealing sleeve and a handle at the upper end of the pressing rod; and a pressing foot located at the lower end of the pressing rod. The handle at the upper end of the pressing rod is a cam lifting handle comprising the upper end of the pressing rod and a cam hinged thereto. A cam surface of the cam lifting handle is in contact with an upper surface of a cam base. The cam base is a movable sleeve sleeved around the pressing rod. A movable sleeve folded edge is provided on the movable sleeve. An upper end of the compression spring presses against said folded edge of the movable sleeve.
AN IMPROVED PLASTIC CONTAINER BODY AND CONTAINER CLOSURE AND CARRY HANDLE GRIP / CONTAINER LEVERAGE OPENING TOOL ASSEMBLY
A plastic injection moulded wide mouth container body and container cover locking and sealing mechanism which includes an annular flange and an annular angular notch groove respectively in a pre-determined configuration so as to provide a tight leak-proof seal when the container lid is fitted over, around and within the container body hoop annular fin and upon locking engagement. The present invention incorporates a multi-use plastic handle grip which may also be used as a closure opening levering tool to disengage the container lid from the container body in a safe and ergonomic manner. More significantly the invention, and when in use and upon first usage opening, does not require the removal of any portion of the container lid to comply with tamper evident requirements, nor needs other tools such as knives and metal levers to completely remove the container closure from the container body. Still furthermore the invention includes a plurality of venting channels and adjacent ports which allows the evacuation of increased internal air pressure within the closed container head space with no leakage of the packaged fluid product. The invention may be adapted to plastic containers of any size and shape being round, oval, square or rectangular tapered or straight wall containers.
AGITATOR LID SUITABLE FOR DIFFERENT PAINT POT OPENINGS
Disclosed is an agitator lid suitable for different paint pot openings, comprising a paint outlet mechanism for controlling paint pouring, and at least two compression mechanisms compressing a paint pot with the agitator lid, each compression mechanism involving: a through-hole provided on the agitator lid, a compression rod passing through the through-hole, a sealing sleeve sheathed on the outside of the compression rod, an up-turned edge of the sealing sleeve pressing on the agitator lid, the periphery of the compression rod between the up-turned edge of the sealing sleeve and a handle on an upper end of the compression rod being sheathed with a compression spring, a lower end of the compression rod being a presser foot, a face of the presser foot being a fan ring shape, a vertical face being provided on a connecting line between two arc-shaped lines along the fan ring shape, and the vertical face dividing a fan ring face into two step-shaped presser foot faces of different heights.
Transportation collar for shipping a container
A transportation collar that includes a ring having a central longitudinal axis and including: a base wall extending transversely and radially inwardly with respect to the axis, and an annular skirt extending in a first axial direction axially away from the base wall; and a peripheral impact barrier extending radially outwardly from the ring adapted to position both the transportation collar and a container carried by the collar relative to one or more additional adjacent transportation collars and one or more additional corresponding containers, wherein the peripheral impact barrier comprises a flange wall extending transversely with respect to the axis.
Hand-held vessel
A hand-held vessel has a bottom wall, a sidewall and a supportive strap attached to the bottom wall and the sidewall. The bottom wall and sidewall have an inner and outer surface. The sidewall extends from the bottom wall, whereby the inner surfaces of the bottom wall and sidewall define a cavity for holding fluids or loose materials therein. The strap has a first end and a second end, whereby the first end is fixedly attached to the sidewall and the second end is selectively secured to the bottom wall. The strap is adaptable to accept a user's hand disposed between the strap and the outer surface of the sidewall. The strap urges the hand against the outer surface of the sidewall to secure the vessel to the hand and stabilize the vessel with respect to movement relative to the hand.
Cup assembly for holding touch-up paint and a method of using the same
A cup assembly for holding touch-up paint is disclosed herein. The cup assembly includes a cup portion with a fluid reservoir configured to hold a volume of touch-up paint; a lid portion configured to matingly engage with the cup portion in a substantially airtight manner so as to prevent the volume of touch-up paint from solidifying; and a shaker ball disposed inside the fluid reservoir of the cup portion, the shaker ball configured to agitate the volume of touch-up paint in the fluid reservoir. A method of applying touch-up paint, which utilizes the cup assembly, is also disclosed herein.
Painting Supplies Storage Device And Method Of Use
A painting supplies storage device that prevents drying and settling of paint includes a container, which has an open top for addition of an open can of paint. A lid is selectively attachable to the container to sealably close the open top. A hole is axially positioned in the lid. A first rod is positioned through the hole and is rotationally and sealably attached to the lid. A lower end of the first rod is positioned proximate to a bottom of the container and its upper end protrudes from the lid. A plurality of paddles is attached to and extends from the first rod. A rotator assembly is attached to the upper end of the first rod to selectively rotate the first rod, whereby the paddles mix the paint. A shell, an upper facet of which is open, is attached to the container for stowage of one or more painting tools.
Adjustably Bottomed Container
An adjustably bottomed container for maximizing usage of the contents of the container includes a cylinder that defines an internal space. The cylinder has a top and a bottom. The top and the bottom are open. A plate, which is complementary to an internal circumference of the cylinder, is slidably couplable to an interior surface of the cylinder. The plate is configured to be pushed from the bottom toward the top of the cylinder. Contents that are positioned in the internal space, such as paint, are compelled toward the top.
DEVICE FOR PROTECTING AND PRESERVING A SUBSTANCE IN A CONTAINER
Disclosed is a device for protecting and preserving a substance in a container. The device may include a plurality of overlapping sectors capable of rotating about a pivot point such that the device has a substantially disc shape when fully expanded and a substantially pie shape when partially expanded; and a lip defining an outer diameter of the device when fully expanded. The outer diameter of the device is equal to or greater than an inner diameter of the inner surface of the container.
