Spliced frame
The present disclosure discloses a spliced frame comprising: an outer frame, which is closed and is formed by a plurality of framed profiles, and the ends of adjacent framed profiles being connected to form a frame corner; a pushrod having two ends slidably abutting against inside walls of the adjacent framed profiles respectively, the pushrod and two framed profiles abutting against the pushrod forming a triangular connection; a corner clip comprising an upper patch being fixedly mounted on upper end surfaces of the framed profiles and an inner flap being folded inward and extended to an inside of the outer frame, and the inner flap being provided with a positioning hole; and a positioning rod passing through a through hole of the pushrod and the positioning hole in turn, and provided with a fastening structure for restricting a relative position between the pushrod and the corner clip.
CANVAS FIXING DEVICE FOR ALUMINUM CANVAS FRAME
A canvas fixing device for an aluminum canvas frame includes: canvas frame bodies each made of a lightweight metal, a fixing groove formed on the rear surface thereof and having a support protrusion, a coupling groove formed on the rear surface thereof, and a support wall formed between the fixing groove and the coupling groove and having a lower height than the rear wall thereof; and fixing pins molded with a thin plate and having a fixing protruding portion and wedge-shaped protrusions formed on top side thereof and an elastic portion bentedly formed on bottom side thereof, the elastic portion having a support piece formed by bending the bottom of the fixing pin, an elastic piece formed by bending the end of the support piece, and an extension protrusion extending from the elastic piece and having a locking projection protruding therefrom.
Removably attachable handle apparatus for manipulating canvas art
A removably attachable handle apparatus includes brackets coupleable to canvas art with handles coupleable to the brackets. Brackets may be positioned on opposite sides of the canvas art. An artist may then grasp the handles to create art (e.g., acrylic pours) or may otherwise transport wet art without fear of smudging the art.
System for mounting a covering upon a frame
A system for mounting a covering (e.g., a fabric material) upon a frame is constructed from a plurality of elongated frame parts. Each frame part has two mitered ends and a channel formed therein. The related mounting method includes the steps of: (a) using a jig to hold the fabric material against the frame; (b) inserting a plurality of retaining splines within respective channels so as to capture the fabric material within the channels between one retaining spline and a corresponding floor of the channel, whereby a plurality of corner pleats are formed; and (c) using a tool to invert each corner pleat into a corner joint formed between respective adjacent frame parts so as to form an internal fold at each corner of the frame.
STRETCHER FOR A FRAME
The present invention relates to a device for separating first and second abutting frame sections of an assembled canvas frame. The device comprises first (1) and second (2) plate members, wherein the first plate member (1) is adapted for insertion into a groove in the first frame section of the assembled frame, and the second plate member (2) is adapted for insertion into a groove in the second frame section of the assembled frame. The first and second plate members (1, 2) are interconnected and the first plate member (1) is moveable in relation to the second plate member (2). Movement of the first plate member (1) results in separation of the frame sections. The present invention further comprises a method for separating first and second abutting frame sections.
Upright multi-position fabric painting rack
A painting rack assembly, including a frame portion having a first pair of spaced, parallel elongated members, a second pair of spaced, parallel semi-elongated members connected to the first pair of spaced, parallel elongated members to define a parallelogram further defining a working plane, a respective centered pivotable connector operationally connected to each respective semi-elongated member, and a plurality of fabric connection assemblies operationally connected to and distributed around the parallelogram, and a support assembly operationally connected to the frame portion having a pair of elongated support members, each respective elongated support member connected to a respective pivotable connector at one end and having a connection socket at the other, oppositely disposed end, and a pair of spaced elongated stabilizing members extending orthogonally from each respective elongated support member and oriented parallel to the working plane.
EMBOSSED PRINT MEDIA
The present disclosure is drawn to embossed print media including a media substrate having a front side and a back side, an embossed image-receiving layer formed on the front side of the media substrate at a coating weight of 3 gsm to 50 gsm, and a fabric liner coupled to the back side of media substrate via an adhesive layer. The embossed image-receiving layer can include a first pigment filler and a first polymeric binder. The adhesive layer can be applied at a coating weight from 20 gsm to 40 gsm and can include a second polymeric binder and a flame-retarding filler.
MODULAR POSTER PRINT STRETCH FRAME
A modular poster print stretch frame for displaying a variety of sizes of poster prints. The modular poster print stretch frame may comprise a plurality of modular frame sections, each having a section body and two or more connectors disposed on at least two faces of the section body, each connector being configured to link the modular frame section to at least one other modular frame section. Modular frame sections may also include a plurality of retaining structures which may be used to retain a fabric sheet, such as a poster print. Some or all of the modular frame sections may be substantially identical to and interchangeable with each other, allowing for simple and easy assembly of the modular poster print stretch frame to a variety of sizes.
Method for manufacturing image display
An image display including an image substrate and a support structure. The image substrate has an image printed on a first surface. The support structure can include a front sheet and a plurality of side strips extending from the front sheet. The image substrate can be adhered to an external surface of the front sheet so that the front sheet forms a rigid backing for the image substrate. A variety of image substrates are provided.
Frame for receiving and applying tension to a canvas and method
A method of applying tension to a canvas that is secured to a frame structure composed of frame members and corner pieces, wherein the frame members are interconnected using corner pieces adapted to receive ends of the frame members to form the frame structure, and wherein each of the frame members comprises a longitudinal axis. The method includes securing the canvas to a frame member; rotating the frame member around a rotation axis that is parallel with the length of the frame member, wherein the canvas, secured to the frame member, increases intension due to the rotation; and fixing the rotated frame member in the rotated position using the corner piece such that the increase in tension in the canvas is preserved.
