Decorative object, in particular watch glass, with an optical effect

Disclosed is a decorative object including an upper glass, a lower glass, a recessed pattern formed in the lower glass and facing the upper glass, a liquid filling the recessed pattern, the refractive index of the liquid being equal to that of the lower glass or differing from that of the lower glass by at most 10 %, and solid elements which can move in the liquid.

Layered structure with embedded graphical pattern

A method is presented for producing an optically transmissive layered structure for use as a display protector for electronic devices. The method comprises printing an ink pattern on a base layer, where said base layer is substantially optically transparent, and the base layer and ink are configured so that the ink reflects light with high incidence angle and transmits light with low incidence angle, when in use, thus displaying the pattern in the absence of light with high intensity and low incidence angle, the pattern becoming substantially undetectable otherwise.

PATTERNED ART WITH VARIABLE RESIST ZONES

Aspects herein are directed to a substrate having resist zones adjacent to non-resist zones on a first surface of the substrate that cooperate to define a “hidden” image. The non-resist zones are zones on the substrate that absorb a colored fluid such as ink applied using a marker and the like. The resist zones are zones on the substrate that do not absorb/repel the colored fluid from the substrate such that the colored fluid can be wiped off of the surface the resist zones. Once all the resist zones are cleaned off and the non-resist zones are colored in, the “hidden” image is revealed to a user. Aspects herein are also directed to kits that include, for example, a plurality of substrates that include the properties of the substrate described above, and one or more colored fluid delivery tools, and cleaning tools for wiping the colored fluid from the resist zones.

Systems and methods for interrupting traditional counterfeiting workflows

This application relates generally systems and methods for interrupting counterfeiting workflows, and more specifically to methods for adequately concealing aspects of printer configuration, such as number of plates used to print a document or a setup of inks and split fountains. It is therefore possible to obscure the individual plate images and application of ink to those plate images, thereby impeding accurate redrawing of security artwork.

A tri-face artwork display device that allows for three different views within the same frame. One embodiment includes upper and lower rows of corresponding slits on the top and bottom of the frame. The slits have a predetermined depth so as to not penetrate through the other side of the frame. The slits hold the image panels that display the second and third image to compliment the first image. The image panel has a second image on its first face and a third image on its second face. Additionally, a clamshell provides enhanced depth to contents inserted within a frame. The clamshell includes a box assembly with sidewalls and a flap assembly that is insertable within a rabbet of a frame.

The invention relates to a material for facing of buildings and premises. The technical result of the proposed invention is expanding the arsenal of technical tools that allow you to apply images with stereoscopic and dynamic display. The technical result is achieved by decorative tile with stereoscopic and dynamic display, including: a front protective transparent plate, which has an external and internal side; an end protective layer; a transparent film; a rear protective layer, which has an external and internal side; a stereoscopic image; a lenticular sheet located above stereoscopic image, wherein: the front protective transparent plate its inner side is connected to a transparent film, and its edges is connected with the end protective layer which, in turn, is connected to the rear protective layer, the rear protective layer with its internal side is connected with the stereoscopic image, above which it is located a lenticular sheet, where between the mentioned lenticular sheet and the transparent film there is an air gap, which provides a stereoscopic and dynamic display of the stereoscopic image, wherein the mentioned transparent film provides additional strength to the mentioned protective transparent plate and UV protection to the stereoscopic image, and the front protective transparent plate, the end protective layer and the rear protective layer form a single sealed protective housing, in which the mentioned stereoscopic image, transparent film and lenticular sheet are located.
