IMPROVED CONDITIONING HAIR TREATMENT PRODUCT WITH WASHOUT PROTECTION
Hair treatment products contain 0.001 to 20% by weight of a complexing agent selected from tetrasodium-N,N-bis(carboxylatomethyl)-L-glutamate, pentasodium diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA), tetrasodium disuccinate (IDS) and from about 0.05 to about 0.5 mol/kg of either a bivalent salt of a monovalent organic acid or 0.01 to 0.5 mol/kg of at least one monovalent organic acid (c1) and 0.01 to 0.1 mol/kg at least one bivalent inorganic salt (c2). Use improves structural reinforcement and reduces or prevents color washout in dyed hair.
HAIR REPAIR COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a method for mending split ends of hair comprising contacting the hair with split ends with a composition comprising at least one non-cellulosic polysaccharide derivative containing at least one cationic group, wherein said non-cellulosic polysaccharide derivative has a cationic degree of substitution DScat greater than 0.15.
Composition for enhancing hair fiber properties
Described herein is a hair care composition including from about 0.01% to about 20% of a lipid being one or more unsaturated fatty materials chosen from unsaturated fatty acids, unsaturated fatty alcohols, and mixtures thereof. The unsaturated fatty material has a Log P of less than 8. The hair care composition also includes from about 0.01% to about 10% of a fatty acid monoester of a polyol, a saturated fatty alcohol, an ester of a saturated fatty alcohol, and mixtures thereof. The molecule of the fatty acid component of the fatty acid monoester includes a linear or a branched carbon chain with 10 to 22 carbon atoms. The fatty acid monoester of a polyol has a log P of less than 8. The molecule of the fatty alcohol includes a linear or branched carbon chain with 8 to 22 carbon atoms. The hair care composition also includes a non-aqueous volatile solvent.
High-performance hair treatment agents with increased care effect
The split end-reducing effect of anteiso fatty acid quats can be further enhanced by alkyldimethylammonium hydroxypropyl hydrolyzed keratin so that hair treatment agents containing at least one anteiso fatty acid quat and alkyldimethylammonium hydroxypropyl hydrolyzed keratin are particularly effective in reducing split ends.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATING DAMAGED HAIR
Provided is a method for treating hair damage by contacting the hair with an effective amount of an epoxysilicone. The method may be used for treating hair damage caused by a hair altering process that is capable of damaging hair, for example, hair lightening/bleaching procedures, hair relaxing procedures, hair dyeing procedures, hair permanent waving, and hair smooting. Also provided is a composition and a product, which include a hair damage treating effective amount of the epoxysilicone.
Hair care product and process for hair caring
Disclosed herein is a hair care product is provided, which comprises an oil-in-water emulsion A and an oil-in-water emulsion C, wherein emulsion A has a pH-value from greater than 7.0 to 12.0 and contains: a1) at least one cationic surfactant A, and a2) at least one amino-functionalized silicone A; and emulsion C has a pH-value from 2.0 to lower than 7.0, and contains: c1) at least one cationic surfactant C, wherein surfactant A and surfactant C may be identical with or different from each other, and c2) at least one silicone C, wherein silicone C and the amino-functionalized silicone A may be identical with or different from each other, wherein emulsion A and emulsion C are separated from each other before use. Also disclosed herein is a process for hair caring by using the hair care product as contemplated herein.
METHOD OF REPAIRING OXIDATIVELY TREATED HAIR
A method of repairing oxidatively-treated hair, the methods comprising the sequential steps of: (i) soaking hair in an aqueous treatment composition, (ii) rinsing the hair of step (i); characterised in that the aqueous treatment composition comprises 0.1 to 6 wt % N-acetyl amino acid, based on the total weight of the composition, wherein the N-acetyl amino acid is selected from the group consisting of N-acetyl glycine, N-acetyl alanine, N-acetyl proline, N-acetyl leucine, N-acetyl isoleucine, N-acetyl valine, N-acetyl tyrosine, N-acetyl phenylalanine, N-acetyl tryptophan, N-acetyl serine, N-acetyl glutamine, N-acetyl threonine, N-acetyl asparagine, N-acetyl methionine, N-acetyl lysine, N-acetyl histidine and mixtures thereof, gives damage repair benefits.
METHOD FOR THE TREATMENT AND/OR PREVENTION OF DAMAGED KERATIN
A method is described for the treatment and/or prevention of damaged keratin in a keratin-containing tissue, comprising the steps of: applying on the keratin-containing tissue a cosmetic composition comprising molecules carrying at least one light reactive functional group, and at least one photoinitiator; and leaving to process with exposure of the keratin-containing tissue to light, the light being of a wavelength suitable for activating said at least one photoinitiator. A cosmetic composition is also described comprising molecules carrying at least one light reactive functional group and at least one photoinitiator; and its use.
Composition and method for improving and protecting keratins
The present invention relates in general to keratin treatment compositions and methods, and more specifically, compositions comprising up to 60% olefinic compounds and at least one unactivated double bond, the composition comprising fatty acid esters of polyhydric alcohols. The present invention is configured to be easily incorporated into bleaching processes, coloring processes, perming processes, shampoos, conditioners and/or styling products. The purpose of the invention is to provide a composition and method that will improve the overall health of keratins, in particular, texture, body, shine and strength.
