Spoked human-powerable vehicle wheel with user-removable hub and plurality of conical hub-to-annulus attachment elements
A wheel for a bicycle, or other human powerable vehicle, has a hub that includes: (a) an axle for attachment to a bicycle frame; (b) a set of bearings that connect the axle to a rotating sleeve; and (c) at least three connection points fixedly connected to the rotating sleeve. The connection points are used to detachably attach an annular module to the hub using attachment elements that each comprise conical frustum surfaces. The attachment elements are configured to axially press a portion of the hub to a portion of the annular module, as well as radially aligning the hub to the annular module. The annular module also has a set of spoke attachment points configured for tensioned spokes that connect the annular module to a wheel rim. The spoke attachment points are in a circular configuration on two parallel offset planes that are perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rim.
Wheel of a Vehicle
A wheel of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, has a rim, a hub portion, and at least two spokes connecting the hub portion to the rim. At least two adjoining spokes are connected to each other by at least one connecting web which is arranged in a space between the spokes, is not attached to the rim and the hub portion, and extends at least approximately in the circumferential direction of the wheel.

Wheel with adjustable radius and tread firmness
A wheel with adjustable radius or tread firmness including a hub assembly, primary spokes, a suspension assembly positioned at the outer end of each primary spoke, and treads attached to the outer end of each suspension assembly. The hub assembly includes a radius lock and a tensioner lock. When each is in a locked position, the radius and tread firmness of the wheel remains constant. When the radius lock or the tensioner lock is in an unlocked position, the radius or the tread firmness, respectively, is adjusted by rotating the wheel relative to internal components of the hub assembly. This relative rotation adjusts the tension on internal cords to adjust the length of the primary spokes or flexibility of the suspension assemblies, respectively. Optionally, secondary spokes may be positioned between each of the primary spokes and the suspension assemblies. The radius and tread firmness is adjustable under a load.
Wheel suspension system
A wheel suspension system, comprising, a wheel rim, a plurality of adaptors equidistantly mounted on inner periphery of the wheel rim, a plurality of suspension curved elastic members having drafted ends configured to be circumferentially and linearly disposed into the adaptor along the wheel rim, and a multi-layered hub having a plurality of interlocked holders away from its centre towards the wheel rim for interlocking the elastic members at the centre. The wheel suspension system is cost effective for both users and manufacturers, user friendly, comfortable, easy to assemble or disassemble, comfortable and provides safety in cases of accidents.

Wheel made out of a fiber reinforced plastic material
A wheel includes a rim and a wheel center with several spokes with at least one butt strap. The at least one butt strap protrudes from a radially outer end of the spokes. The rim includes at least one opening arranged corresponding to the at least one butt strap. The at least one butt strap extends across the related opening in the rim and is attached to the outside of the rim.

Hub for retaining spokes with loops
A hub and spoke assembly includes a hub body having a first end and a second end. Projections are on each end. The projections are spaced apart from each adjacent projection about a rotational axis of the hub. Each projection comprises a base portion joined to the hub body and a support extending from the base portion to a free end. A plurality of spokes is provided. Each spoke comprises an elongated braided fiber having a loop at a first end and a second end configured for attachment to a rim. At least one spoke is joined to each support of each projection.
