Wheel securing structure of trucks
A wheel securing structure for trucks is provided. The securing structure generally includes iron screwshaft liners installed in keyholes of mounting parts of aluminum wheels. The bolts of an assembling part correspondingly penetrate the holes of respective screwshaft liners. A first folded edge and a second folded edge are formed on two terminals of each screwshaft liner to respectively insert into conical pits formed on the mounting part of a wheel. The nuts screw onto the bolts of the assembling part to secure the wheel onto the assembling part. When the trucks pass bumpy roads, relative motion caused by vibrations occurs between the wheels and the assembling part, and friction is generated between various parts. The screwshaft liner protects the soft aluminum wheel from being directly rubbed by the bolts, nuts, and the assembling part. Accordingly, the aluminum wheel is made suitable for trucks and other heavy vehicles.
ISOLATOR DESIGN FOR VEHICLE WHEEL
A number of variations may include a vehicle which may have a vehicle body and a vehicle hub operably coupled to the vehicle body. A vehicle wheel may be operably coupled to the vehicle hub. The vehicle wheel may be isolated from the vehicle hub by at least one isolation feature selected from the group consisting of: an extended flange portion of the vehicle wheel may be disposed between a pilot hole and the vehicle hub, a multiple piece cover portion may fully cover the pilot hole, a drain slot may be disposed on the vehicle wheel and the drain slot may have a slope of at least five degrees, or an enhanced bushing may create a non-flat profile between the vehicle wheel and a fixation device.
CENTERLOCK WHEEL ASSEMBLY
An apparatus and a method are provided for a centerlock wheel assembly that is configured to improve driving dynamics and provide faster wheel changes. A centerlock adaptor is provided with a plurality of vehicle bolt pattern configurations disposed thereon. A first and threaded abutment are disposed on the centerlock adaptor. A hub adaptor is configured to threadingly engage with an exterior surface of the threaded abutment, thereby retaining a centerlock wheel, for example. Finally, a center cap is provided to threadingly engage with an inner surface of the threaded abutment. For each side of the vehicle, the centerlock assembly features particular threading arrangements so as to retain the centerlock wheel and counteract against various wheel dynamics. A centerlock wrench is provided to tighten and loosen the hub adaptor and center cap.
Nut, in particular wheel or axle nut, washer, control device for wheel or axle nuts in vehicles and vehicle provided therewith
A wheel nut or axle nut for vehicles, having a body, having a central threaded hole, having a peripheral wall, having an abutment face at a lower side, wherein the nut also has a plurality of wrench faces on the peripheral wall of the nut body for tightening or releasing the nut by a tool which cooperates with the wrench faces. In the body at least one recess is provided in which a sensor element is arranged, wherein the sensor element is connected to a wireless interface which is configured to transmit a sensor signal of the sensor element wirelessly to an external reception unit.
Fastening element
Disclosed is a fastening element, which can be provided in particular as a wheel nut, to be screwed onto a thread. The fastening element includes a nut with an internal thread. In addition, the fastening element includes an expansion sleeve which connects axially to the nut. The expansion sleeve is developed without an internal thread and is realized in one piece with the nut. In addition, the fastening element includes a pressure plate. The pressure plate is arranged on a side of the expansion sleeve remote from the nut and is fastened so as to be captively rotatable on the expansion sleeve.
Wheel Centering Sleeve
A corrosion-resistant wheel centering sleeve is provided to aid in centering a wheel about a wheel hub. The wheel centering sleeves have an adjustable thickness in order to coordinate with various-sized gap spaces in the wheel hole between the wheel and the stud.
Composite Thermoplastic Structure And Composite Compression Limiter For Same
A composite compression limiter (44) includes a cylindrical body (46) extending axially with an aperture (48) extending axially therethrough to receive a fastener (18), the body (46) being made of a continuous fiber polymeric tape reinforced by a plurality of fibers ranging from approximately 20% to approximately 65% by weight.
Adjustable Wheel Hex Hub Assembly for Remote-Controlled Cars
The invention relates to a Wheel Hex Hub Assembly designed for remote-controlled cars, offering adjustable features for convenient customization. The assembly comprises a Threaded Hex Hub, a Hub Face, and a Hub Spacer. The Threaded Hex Hub connects the wheel to the axle with a hex shape cutout and threaded holes for secure fastening. The Hub Face provides a flat surface with a machined cylindrical step for wheel centering and a central hole for axle shaft attachment. The Hub Spacer allows for length adjustment in the assembly.
VEHICLE WHEEL
A vehicle wheel has a wheel hub arrangement with a wheel hub arrangement surface and a wheel rim with a wheel rim surface. The wheel hub arrangement surface and the wheel rim surface are arranged to abut to each other when the wheel rim is mounted on the wheel hub arrangement. The wheel hub arrangement is provided with first and second engagement structures, wherein the first engagement structure and the second engagement structure are adapted to engage with each other, and wherein the wheel hub arrangement and the wheel rim are assemblable together to form the vehicle wheel, provided that the wheel hub arrangement and the wheel rim are mutually positioned such that the first engagement structure and the second engagement structure are engaged thereby enabling the wheel hub arrangement surface and the wheel rim surface to abut to each other.
FASTENING DEVICE FOR FASTENING A VEHICLE WHEEL RIM TO A WHEEL HUB
A fastening device is disposed in one installation hole of a vehicle wheel rim to fasten the wheel rim to a wheel hub. The fastening device includes a fastening unit and a reinforcing unit. The fastening unit has an abutting portion corresponding to the installation hole and a tightening portion coaxially connected with the abutting portion. The reinforcing unit is coaxially and rotatably coupled with the fastening unit, and has a friction wall which extends radially to abut against an abutting wall of the fastening unit. The reinforcing unit is rotated and tightened along a longitudinal axis to the fastening unit through abutment of the friction wall against the abutting wall. The fastening unit and the reinforcing unit respectively have first and second threaded holes aligned with each other.
