OIL COALESCING VENT ASSEMBLY
A vent assembly (100) has a vent body (110) defining a first end (104) and a second end (106), a central axis extending from the first end to the second end, and an inner surface defining a cavity. A first retainer extends across the cavity towards the first end of the vent body, and a second retainer (140) extends across the cavity towards the second end of the vent body. The first retainer defines a first retainer opening extending to a first radial distance from the central axis, and the second retainer defines a second retainer opening extending to a second radial distance from the central axis, where the second radial distance is greater than the first radial distance. Coalescing filter media is disposed in the cavity between the first retainer and the second retainer. The coalescing filter media, the cavity, the first retainer, and the second retainer cumulatively define an airflow pathway.
ACTIVE AERODYNAMIC WHEEL CAP DEVICES AND SYSTEMS
Methods and systems of an active aerodynamic wheel cap device are provided. The active aerodynamic wheel cap device can be mounted to a vehicle wheel and configured to actuate from a flap-open to a flap-closed state. The flap-open state provides an air vent path from an outer portion of a wheel to an internal component of the wheel, especially at low speeds or during braking. The flap-closed state provides a substantially gapless aerodynamic cap for the wheel of the vehicle at highway speeds or during acceleration. The actuation of the active aerodynamic wheel cap device may be based on an all-mechanical controlled centripetal force movement mechanism.
HUBCAP
A hubcap includes a monolithic main body. The monolithic main body includes (i) a sidewall having an annular cross-section, a hub end, and a vent end opposite the hub end, (ii) an end-cap abutting and spanning across the vent end, and (iii) a flange abutting and at least partially surrounding the hub end. The flange has an outer flange-surface facing the vent end and, opposite the outer flange-surface, an inner flange-surface that defines an annular channel.

The present application relates to an insert, a protection device, a wheel and a vehicle. The insert is used for a wheel, the wheel comprises a rim, spokes, and a tire, and the insert comprises: a body provided on the rim and/or the spokes; and a protection portion provided on the body, the protection portion at least partially shielding an outer surface of the tire. The technical solution of the embodiments of the present application can form a certain protection effect on a tire of a wheel, improve the reliability and safety of the wheel, and further improve the aesthetic appearance of the wheel.
CLEAR HUBCAPS WITH OIL RANGE MARKINGS
A vehicle including at least one wheel and at least one hub assembly associated with the at least one wheel. The at least one hub assembly includes a hubcap. The hubcap has a transparent body configured for housing a lubricant, a fill port, and at least one continuous indication feature such that a lubricant volume is indicated in any orientation of the hubcap.
VEHICLE WHEEL ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A SELF-DEPLOYED WHEEL SHUTTER SYSTEM
A vehicle wheel assembly includes a vehicle wheel including a wheel body having a center. The vehicle wheel defines a plurality of openings arranged annularly around the center of the wheel body. The vehicle wheel assembly further includes a self-deployed wheel shutter system coupled to the vehicle wheel. The self-deployed wheel shutter system includes a hub plate, an annular rim disposed around the hub plate, and a plurality of shutter flaps. The shutter flaps are movable relative the vehicle wheel between an extended position and a retracted position. In the extended position, the shutter flaps cover the openings of the vehicle wheel to preclude air from flowing through the vehicle wheel. When the plurality of shutter flaps are in the retracted position, the openings are exposed, allowing the air to flow through the openings of the vehicle wheel.
WHEEL AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A wheel and a motor vehicle. The wheel includes: a wheel hub; a wheel rim, connected to the wheel hub through a plurality of spokes, the plurality of spokes being spaced apart from each other to form a plurality of through spaces; and a plurality of baffles, movably installed to the wheel relative to the wheel hub and configured to move relative to the wheel hub in response to changes in a speed of a vehicle to provide different shielding degrees for corresponding through spaces among the plurality of through spaces.

A hub cap assembly with a retaining device (100), and at least one housing portion (34) with an annular recess (98) in an inner surface with a sight glass (12) disposed in the annular recess and positioned axially between the retaining device and the housing portion. The work piece also includes a first area comprising a plateable resin configured to be plated using the plating process without the auxiliary anode and having a first current density during the plating process. Additionally, the work piece includes a second area comprising a non-plateable resin configured to not be plated using the plating process without the auxiliary anode. The first area and the second area are determined by a process referencing a predetermined minimum current density value with the first current density being greater than the predetermined minimum current density value.
