A lug cover may also be secured to the hex cap. The center bore profile allows for the selective utilization of either an ESR snap cap or a hex cap as part of a wheel, based upon application needs or aesthetic preference.

The invention provides an insert for use thereof in a wheel of a vehicle that is inexpensive and can be easily mounted from the front portion thereof, but which has an anti-theft system that prevents the removal thereof from the front portion and enables most of said insert to be made of a material that does not require high thermal resistance.

A drive unit for an electric vehicle, having an electric machine and a three-speed shift transmission with first, second and third shift elements, and two planetary sets which are coupled with each other. The first planetary set has a first sun gear shaft, first ring gear shaft and a first carrier shaft. The second planetary set has a second sun gear shaft, a second ring gear shaft and second carrier shaft. The first carrier shaft is fixed to the second ring gear shaft. The first sun gear shaft can be driven by an electric machine. The first ring gear shaft is fixed and output takes place via the second carrier shaft. The first shift elements are actuated to engage a first gear, the second shift elements are actuated to engage the second gear and the third shift elements are actuated to engage the third gear.

A wheel cover mounting assembly is revealed. A cover whose shape is similar to that of an automotive wheel is mounted into an axle hole of the automotive wheel by a mounting assembly. The mounting assembly includes a through hole at the center of the wheel cover and a circular wall arranged in the through hole. A threaded segment formed on an inner surface of the circular wall and a moveable base are threaded and locked with each other. A thread portion engaged with the threaded segment is disposed on surface of the moveable base. Through the design of the relative thread depth of the thread portion with regard to the threaded segment, the moveable base presses the circular wall against the axle hole of the automotive wheel for positioning the circular wall in the axle hole firmly.
